Sean Davis 3rd Forrest Gump moment

the face mask sucked but Davis isn't a bad player......he's made some solid plays.

check this out.

A whole 2 targets for Davis...

Who was he covering? I see 2-2 for an average of nearly 16 yards against per target.

So Davis has as many Passes deflected as Golden and just 1 less than Mitchell, both of whom have played many more snaps

A reason why he starting. Golden isn't as good this year. But just 1 PD that was a gift, when 4 our LB's have more, a high missed tackles to tackles ratio and three Forrest Gump moments.

Keep kidding yourself, he's doing just fine.

Hold it Coach, you have reiterated constantly the reason Davis wasn't playing because he is just an awful football player.

Forget about the bush of one PD was a gift (it was a TD saving, facing the player tip). The starting LB have more because they have MORE passes being thrown to their area of responsibility. Gheez, will you think past your bias?

High missed tackles? Do you even read the actual stats given to you? After 7 missed tackles in the first 2 games, he has only missed 2 since the end of September and none in 4 games (or one month).

You still haven't given what these Forrest Gump moments are specifically, nor its rational comparison to the term. You want to use the face mask penalty. Go ahead, but that is not why the game was lost. To pin it squarely on him for that bang/bang play is ludicrous.

Coach, you have reiterated constantly the reason Davis wasn't playing because he is just a God awful football player, now he's starting because Golden isn't as good this year? He's produced more with less snaps than Golden So, Golden must be even worse than you accuse Davis of being. Yet no mention of utter suck fest of Golden by you. But he does grade (if you can call it that) much better than Davis. Your failed logic is indisputable. So just call it as it is, you are to biased to admitting you might be wrong about this kid. It's too early to crown him a All-pro, but he's hasn't been as failure as you portray it.

So keep kidding yourself that you are not clouded by your biased judgment.

just keep your hateraid to yourself. as was shown, there have not been many chances for Davis to defend passes so the fact that he has one, even if it was a gift one, is not an indication of him being a poor defender. This **** is why you are ******* annoying. You pick one ******* stat and try to say it means everything, when especially in this case it just doesn't mean ****.

coach he has you here as Davis and Burns has shown some improvement. The run D is actually been the bigger let down (besides the pass rush).

Davis failed to break down on a blitz and whiffed causing a big play on Cleveland only TD drive. To my knowledge that was Davis only bad play I saw.

Didn't see much of Davis yesterday except for the interception he dropped.

At least Davis has upside. I'm starting to think we need to dump Mitchell. Dude is just an on the field cheerleader.

I think we all know your thoughts on Davis by now...just like we all knew your thoughts on Troy...why don't we let this play out a bit and come back to it instead of bringing up every damn negative the kid makes

Yeah, did you see the five other drops? Including 3 by Burns? One of which he had both hands in his breadbasket? Based on your logic, he needs to be cut now, mid season no less. Kid is just a freaking waste of space. Another Tombert failure, etc, etc...

Mitchell and LT had possible picks missed/dropped. Did you see those too? If you did, surprise! No comment there to churn the agenda!

What about Cockrell's turn around that allowed a 3rd and long made to inside our 5 yard line? Pathetic coverage? I'd expect to hear it from you. I thought he got turned around because he was leading the throw.

Or maybe we should give credit that the wind, grabbed that ball and allowed that catch.

I'm not the only one who didn't like the Davis pick.

Here's the thing, in order for me to stop posting about him, others have to stop saying hey Coach when Davis does something.

If that stops, things will be fine. But for now it has taken on a life of its own.

Please, Burns is covering WR's by himself and making plays. Davis is not making ANY plays, except when the ball has been thrown right at him and he doesn't; catch it.

Davis as a corner would be toast. He was very quiet yesterday in the fine day for the DB's as the pass rush was killing a winless Cleveland team.
