The nation and the national media all saw the horrific coaching job Tomlin did this weekend. To think the minority owners willhave no say with Art Jr. Is a little silly. I guaranty there is no serious love for Tomlin in the front office today. He won't be fired but he is no longer regarded as untouchable and next season better be a complete different story or he will be gone.

You think just because you have talent at key positions it should net a title ? Anthony Lynn, Mike McCoy, Norv Turner and Marty all had Rivers, Gates, and a couple had LT and no title came in SD. Shula had Marino all those years, with a fine receiving core. How many SBs did he win with the talent ?

Trivia question--How many super bowls were won by coaches in their first 2 seasons with no previous HC experience ? Answer- 1 ..whom was it ? Mike Tomlin

Which players? A few leaders took indirect shots at him. Tomlin probably burned 20-23 guys who voted to stand for the Anthem. Never mix Politics with football.

NO MANY DID NOT. Tomlin wanted team unity and asked the players to stay in the locker room as a group. He even said it.

Those voting to stand were put in a tremendously uncomfortable positon with their boss, which in most corporate settings would be an HR issue.

LMAO, Tomlin was handed a SB winning team from 1 year prior...Grimm or Whiz would have the same SB success as Tomlin. Congrats, the more Tomlin gets involved the worse we get. What a ******* regular season record though, can we get a participation trophy for having great regular seasons?

Marv Levy went to 4...so ******* what. Tomlin has 1 ******* win 10 years ago and has routinely under performed ever since. We should give him 20 years though...just for the Rooney way.

Cowher went to a bunch of AFCC games with superiors teams and lost numerous times. Fans wanted him out. The Rooneys kept him. Extended his contract(s). Guess what. He eventually did win one SB.

Some might say he was forced on Tomlin by the Rooney's. As was Arians, LeBeau and Butler. See a pattern?

I agree with the rest but not this part. Whether Lev played or not, Tom Brady was going through the defense like it was nothing.. the defense/strategy couldn't stop him.

Show me one post where I have ever said anything about Cowher. Cowher squandered many opportunities because of his insistence on using guys like Tomczak, O'Donnell, Stewart, Graham...etc. Nowhere have I ever advocated bringing him back. But the problem with all of the Tomlin supporters is that you have to justify anything that Tomlin does against Cowher, I don't make my decisions based on past mistakes and judge them off of that, I make them by learning from the past.
 
There were MANY fans calling for Cowher's head, and rightfully so. Yes, he retired, but it also became clear that the team felt it was time to move on as well, and they were correct. And now we are in the same situation with Tomlin.

- If football wasn't played on grass/artifical turf, list five types of surfaces you'd like to see as an alternative (water is an acceptable choice)
- If players weren't allowed to use their hands, name five other appendages you'd like to see them use
