Any word on Tuitt or Green

Late in the 4th, Coates threw his coat off, grabbed his helmet and started out onto the field and was called back, per Mike Products, not sure what that means.

green = 4.56 40 time

james = 4.83

so yeah hes a lil faster.. Green just looks frail to me..

James' 40 time at his Pro Day was 4.69 and his vertical was 37.5 inches (excellent!) at the combine--the 2nd best vert at the combine He is plenty athletic.

.

Look there is nothing wrong with James. He is very good. He totally exceeded my expectations. He has exceeded a guy like Tuaman already. This type of player is exactly what you need on the roster. And if the situation was different and you had a Bryant or a Coates in his first five games, it might be different. He could be an underneath possession guy. But sorry. In their current situation they need the guy who the other team looks at film and says we have to account for that guy. He could game break us. Jesse James is not a game breaker.

That plus a hammy. He'll be inactive this week.

Don't be so sure about that. He plays a key role on special teams. With Shamarko Thomas on IR and Justin Gilbert injured vs. the Browns, we will probably dress Coates even if the plan is to play him on offense only in an emergency. He could probably have played vs. the Browns on an emergency basis.

DHB is now back and he can take over Coates ST's duties I'd think.

Who is the better blocker on passing downs?

They need gunners on special teams. No Sharmarko, no Justin Gilbert. Robert Golden is dealing with an injury. I'm sorry but it's not just as easy as saying "DHB can handle it".

Listen, I want DHB to play ahead of Sammie Coates. I want DHB to be the #1 option as the other outside WR besides AB. But Sammie Coates has been an important contributor on special teams and - if he's healthy - I think he'll get a hat.

The more I hear about Green, the more worried I am that he may not play. Doesn't sound like he's as healthy as I thought he was last week.

Green worked with Ben and AB on the scout team last week I think Ben said on his show

Don't jump off the bridge yet. They haven't practiced this week, and Green did practice (although limited) twice last week. He may have been held out for meaningless reasons.

yeah, Ayers went out instead. I think Ayers said "sit down cripple, I got this...."

more likely there just wasn't a reason to risk further injury of his fingers or hammie in a meaningless game......

Sammie was being re-incorporated into the offense down the home stretch (snap count going up) and was going to be a big part of the game plan against the Ravens --- and then he strained his hamstring at practice during Ravens week. The fingers are not the issue at this point --- they had healed enough for him to start resuming a larger role on offense --- it's the hammy which set him back.

If we have Green that improves our potency. We can line up in some 2 TE sets and exploit that.

I heard Coates was a full participant too

Full participants - Tuitt, Green, Coates

Held out (inury) - Chickillo (ankle), Golden (ankle), Mathews (ankle) and V. Williams (shoulder)
Held out (non-inury) - D. Williams

According to Dustin Dopirak on DK's site

nothing mentioned about Grimble? Just saw a story he is dealing with busted ribs

Nothing mentioned about Grimble. Hope he's not though because with Green's propensity towards concussions, he may be needed.

Tuitt ad Green very good news...

On the Dolphins front:

Tannehill didn't practice.

Neither did starting CB Maxwell or S Rambo

Starting LB Jenkins, was limited with his knee. He didn't start his last 2 games.

Just heard on radio that Green is still in the protocol. Did not practice today.
