Any word on Tuitt or Green

Green is officially questionable for the game... must have had a relapse since he practiced the last two days but did not practice today

I hate this type of player. Runs scout team all last week. 3 weeks since the injury, which in my opinion if that hit concussed you, you shouldn't be playing. full practice Wedneday/Thursday and now its go time and I have a headache. Gimme a break. When Shazier gets hurt he is like this too. Everyone gets hurt, everyone understands that. I do know that when AB got hit by Burfect last year he was coming back ASAP, and he was KO'd.

I'll take the trade of Green for their CB, Maxwell that covered Brown in Miami, he was ruled out today too

Questionable with an injury below the neck is one thing, questionable with a concussion is another.

I fear Green might retire soon. He's like a very old boxer who's been hit too much. Normal hits that most players brush off are now worries for him.

I'd trade Green for a 6 pack of skunk Stoneys, he's about as dependable as a broken watch.

This is all I'm saying. Some guys have to feel 100% to play. Some do not. Had he stayed in the protocol the entire time and had continuous symptoms ok fine. He was good to go and now he is not. Same with his ankle. some guys are just not meant to play professional football. Sorry.

Playing through real concussions is idiotic... if you start having the symptoms you cannot play... period... Mike Webster,
Justin Strylczyk ... i mean its not a man up and play issue.. its a i want to live past 50 issue..

Which is all fine and dandy. However, be up front and don't sign for $25 million beforehand.

Who's the stupid one here, the guy that signs a deal for $25 million or the team that paid him $25 million knowing he has a history of concussions and is still recovering from surgery? I think the Steelers panicked after Heath retired and made a knee jerk decision on Green.

Part of the protocol is letting guys practice then checking them again to see how they feel AFTER practicing. Sometimes practicing make the symptoms come back..

He is dead cap of 3.52 million next year. too much to swallow, but my experience says that unless he retires you will get the same deal next year. Year after that he is 2.4 dead cap. Dump him then unless there is a big improvement.

Panicked??? The Steelers liked him coming out of college. They had him in the cross hairs. Now if Green didn't tell the Steelers he was still having issues you can't fault the Steelers for that.. unless someone knows of test that shows concussions that I don't know of. And honestly I can't fault Green either 25 million on the table yeah I'm going to volunteer I'm still having headaches. Not happening.

Maybe the fact that Green had 4 diagnosed concussions in the past 2 years would be a red flag?

I don't care who you like coming out of college, the guy has had 4 concussions in 2 years and was still not recovered from a serious ankle surgery and you offer him $24 million dollars.

Yeah practicing is the last part of the protocol, if he can practice without symptoms, then he'd be cleared to play.

Buyer beware ...

Maybe this is why we don't get into the free agent market until the big names are off the board. With his contract going from 1.25 million to 5 million next year I say the second he's healthy cut him. He took us for 6.25 million with bonus lets not let him get hurt again and sue the team or get an injury settlement. Lets ride the outlaw an draft Evan Engram for that deep threat mismatch TE we are looking for.

Green was definately a threat for defenses to contend with. Ayers is near that threat only in a differs way. Ayers was getting open on the crossing routs and deep, as proven by the deep PI call. We have weapons to overcome the absence of Green, it's the Tuitt injury that has me MOST worried. Hargrave is good to have but a Tuitt is a difference maker in the run stop.

Salute the nation

This is a big break for Dolphins IMO. If Green doesn't play, we need Eli to wreak havoc over the middle of the field and he has been doing this lately.

Maybe it's just me but not having Matthews is somewhat concerning too. I think Maxey is a big step down from Ricardo and I'm guessing, but I don't think Tuitt is 100 percent so if he has to leave the game, our DL is going to be down to Maxey, Walton, McCullers. That's not good.

Let Ladarious Go.

What's he played, 3 games?

Seriously? What's that amount to in dolllars per game? Per catch? Per yard? The dude is making SERIOUS bank.

He can go and not be able to make the game-day active list for some other team. I think he's a great game day scratch, but we need folks who can actually line up.
