If Tomlin was fired, here's who we could get. Give us your top 5 names,

can you HONESTLY sit there and tell everyone that Tomlin has not grossly under-achieved the last 5 years. If the answer to that is anything other than YES than you are more concerned with Tomlin than the Steelers winning a SB.
Hmmmm...

13-3 this season is a gross underachievement??? There are 30 teams wishing they could sniff that record.

The head coach may not win the Superbowl every year - and he has his faults; but there's not a Senior or Executive board that is going to justify dismissing am employee that is above the line. Especially without any scandals tied to him or the organization...

Sorry, but that is just plain asinine. There are plenty of coaches, coordinators, and/or position coaches that could do equal to what Tomlin has done with the talent he has available. Tomlin has done less with more talent than probably any NFL coach.
Name your five...

in Pittsburgh anything short of a SB is a gross underachievement

With this talent a 1 and done in the playoffs to a Blake ******* Bortles led team is a underachievement.

Show me one post where I have ever said anything about Cowher. Cowher squandered many opportunities because of his insistence on using guys like Tomczak, O'Donnell, Stewart, Graham...etc. Nowhere have I ever advocated bringing him back. But the problem with all of the Tomlin supporters is that you have to justify anything that Tomlin does against Cowher, I don't make my decisions based on past mistakes and judge them off of that, I make them by learning from the past.

I didn't say that you did or didn't...did I? My point went over your head. I was just pointing out to you if the Rooney's would have fired Cowher after a drought such as Tomlin is having(for SB victories) Cowher never would have gotten his.

What’s to say another coach wouldn’t have had 2 in that same time period.

Sorry, but you're nuts if you think the players don't respect Tomlin.

That's why they continue to do stupid **** on social media. Name me one Pats player that has acted like some of our player have since the playoffs have started. hell I will go one better than that name ONE player on any team that played this past weekend that has. This team does not respect Tomlin because he doesn't earn it or demand it...

I had a boss once that I loved to work for and so did everyone else on his team, the reason was he didn't hold anyone accountable, sure he talked it but when it came right down to it you could get away with anything. Guess what when **** started going bad and upper management started asking questions of his team; EVERYONE had his back NO ONE wanted him gone and someone else to come in and hold us accountable. Same **** different business.

I'm not disagreeing. I just choose to be realistic.

To say the HC should be fired after:

1. Dealing with Bell's hold out
2. Bringing back Bryant after 1 year and a midseason rant back to productive
3. Calming both AB and Ben after their outbursts
4. Finding the right 22 every week to get out on the field after losing Shazier - HUGE
5. Managing his responses about the evident and atrocious officiating that resulted in an loss to the *'s this season

Yeah, let's fire him... fools...😡

1 Todd Wash -D coordinator Jags
2 George Edwards - D coordinator Vikings
3 Matt LaFleur - O coordinator Rams
4 Frank Reich - O coordinator Eagles - High on this one
5 Pete Carmicheal-O Coordinator Saints

5 solid coaching prospects...........

Another way to look at it is this team is full of too much drama, that wasn't corralled.

My stance again is to can the coordinators, but I won't pretend that Tomlin constantly rides the pine. I am having a difficult time getting over that on side kick, and then I hear Ben can't audible.... And then the track record for coming up short, even as the talent improved.......

Just can't let him completely off the hook....

1 Todd Wash -D coordinator Jags
2 George Edwards - D coordinator Vikings....................and bring their QB coach as an offensive cordinator......BINGO !!!!!!
3 Matt LaFleur - O coordinator Rams
4 Frank Reich - O coordinator Eagles - High on this one
5 Pete Carmicheal-O Coordinator Saints

5 solid coaching prospects...........

VERY good list

Who coaches in Clevland right now?

Cleveland doesn't have the talent to underacheive at coaching................................. NOT like this STEELERS team at all.

Prove that Tomlin is better...you can’t. Most underachieving coach in the NFL.

And really? You don't want anyone to throw out stats on what Tomlin has accomplished during the season but want someone try to prove he is a good coach. LOL and then you throw anybody else's name out and say they are better. Then you say prove coach A, B, or C couldn't have done a better job than Tomlin....SMH

First off, our offense has MORE talent than New England's. Hooide hired McDaniels. Tomlin hired Todd Haley. How long does it take you to choose between the two?

Secondarily, a good OC is not calling a 4th, and one wide run vs. a fast defense, nor is a good head coach going to give them field position on a very early onside kick. The coaching is a disgrace.

Lastly. Cowher beat Hoodie in the playoffs. You don't know what Cowher would do if Mr. Rooney were on the line asking him to lead the team back to the super bowl. A 13-3 team with cap space and Ben for three more years?!. Perhaps too much to refuse. Not to mention it would take Gruden like money ( 10 million a season ) . In my life experiences, what people say can quickly be contradicted once enough money is involved.

This is great. You're referencing a playoff victory over hoodie from 1998. How did they fare afterwards? Cowher went a grand 1-4 after that victory in '98, losing by an average of 30-15, with 2 of those losses coming in the AFCCG where they were favored, pretty largely in '01. The game where they had all their bags packed for New Orleans before the game. And who can forget the 28-3 abomination in '97? Or the pre-Super Bowl shuffle in '94, when they had yet to play the Chargers for the right to go to the damn game. You suggest bringing Cowher back at every turn, yet fail to ever consider his shortcomings, which aren't all that different from Tomlin. At least as far as the "locker room" is concerned. I agree that Tomlin should be feeling some heat, but I'd like to see what changes they make to the coaching staff first, and see how next season plays out.

The top 4 go with the job in today's diva spoiled millionaire NFL. I think most folks are pissed with the OC and much more on the DC. It starts at the top.

That last one no.5. Well the NFL is bullshit in its rule application. I used to get so pissed at the NHL not calling **** when the playoffs rolled around. Things they called all year in the regular season. The NFL has taken a page from that crap. The insane amount of PI going on along with holding and not a peep.

I have so many issues with them i could write all day. We will see what they let fly next week in Fraudboro. It should be fun to observe.

If you look closely at the list there is a lot to like. Part of me is really intrigued by Matt too.

I tell you there is some talent there waiting for opportunities.

At 1 and 31 there is some sort of underachieving going on.
