Ben in a walking boot?

By the way, the play call that got Ben injured in the playoffs vs. Bengals last year was much worse than what happened yesterday.

And also, Ben's ankle is fine, he's really not injured. Wake me up when he's not a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Nobody. But when people say the coach is stupid for doing something it is, often, referred to as something other coaches are smarter and wouldn't due such a think. The vast majority of the time, this is, simply, not true. Hence, no one cares what those coaches do, until, of course, they do something different from Tomlin, then it is importanter,

And there goes my milkshake...DAMN IT Ark!!!!

Just because I'm criticizing that decision doesn't mean I'm calling him dumb or a bad coach. The guys in Pittsburgh that cover the team thinks he should've pulled Ben as well, but they all think he's a good coach still

We aren't GB or NE, period!

And neither GB or NE have a QB that had surgery on his meniscus this year, concussions issues in the past, and numerous other injuries due to his style of play and the beatings he has taken. It's not a one size fit all answer.

You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later.

We weren't up by 3 scores at Cincy last year either

Tomlin or someone made the decision, Ben's going to play this weekend, end of story. Hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20. I know I'm the only one here who possesses the amount of clairvoyancy needed to make these kinds of call(s). Unfortunately CMT no longer takes my calls. Hell the only guy who takes my calls is "Pittsburgh Dad" and I think it's because he wants to highjack material from me. In any event it doesn't matter what other teams or coaches do as I ONLY care about our beloved PITTSBURGH STEELERS. It seems as Ben is fine and all will work out well. "I've got a feelin, Pittsburghs going to the lowB repuS".......Right after we beat the chiefs and ******* POUND the CHEATRIOTS !!!!!

Salute the nation

I owe you...

I was wondering why they didn't pull him when they pulled Bell but it doesn't matter now. Ben never could run worth a **** anyway and we all saw him jogging off the field with the game ball after the game, so he'll be just fine. Like Blitz5 said, he'll be in a body cast tomorrow if this boot doesn't work.

Yes sir, just to help keep it from swelling more. He's fine

Like I said earlier. He was walking fine. The boot was precautionary to prevent further injury before they could scan it. Good hear he's okay and it should NOT be a game changer.

NO!

I woke up even more furious with Tomlin!

The coach's job is to protect players from themselves - he failed.

3 ******* minutes left in a blow-out!!!!!!!!!! - the fault is ALL his!

Hocccckkkkkkkk spit

Easy now Spike. Enjoy the W. Just be glad Ben is ok and good to go for KC. Rough crowd today

Ben has 9 Ints in his last 5 games. He's had 2 INTs in each of his last 3 games. His play is not trending well. If we want to advance, he has to knock that **** off.

8 TDs and 9 INTs the last 5 games is not the Ben we have come to know and love.

Just a bad stretch. Hoping he peaks back up at the right time

That is a bad stretch, but those all aren't on just him Brown had the first one go right through his hands, Grimble stopped his route on the first pick vs Baltimore.

I wasn't referencing you, specifically, either. Or didn't intend to do so anyway.

True, but we've also had a few "Whew" moments with the defenders dropping balls thrown right at them. We'll call Jessie James catch a wash on AB's deflected INT the very next play. The one to Jessie should have been an INT.

Something is off in his game. I've never seen him throw behind a receiver when he's moving left with the receiver. I'm hoping he corrects it, but he's no longer making the best decision, at times, during games. Throwing into triple coverage off a play action fake with only 1 receiver there was a bad play vs Baltimore.

Yeah no doubt, I'm going with every game is a new game, and KC plays man coverage, Ben and Brown usually tear that up

Let the Landry Jones era begin!! :towel:

I'm not close to bailing on Ben yet. Just concerned.

I think sometimes we get to caught up in running Bell and not throwing, and we get out of rhythm, we had that great 10 play running drive all Bell, but between that, our defensive series before and after that drive,Ben probably went 30 mins real time without throwing the ball, just a thought

At least 30 minutes.

That's a serious issue I have with Haley's play calling. He tends to get over-lovin' on Bell and as a result Brown and Ben can get mighty cold waiting for an opportunity to see some action again. You can't just turn the passing game on and off again like a switch. You want some ******* balance.

I loved the 10 play drive as much as anyone. It was a great statement drive.

But then the Steelers went Full on turtle. Sure, Ben had a couple poor throws, but Haley should have dialed up a couple easy tosses to work him back into a rythm. "Nope", let's just grind this **** out and take ALL the air out of the game.

Then the world is shocked as **** when the QB and the Receiver look like they aren't on the same page 45 minutes later when they ARE asked to make a play out of the blue.
