I just went out to the warehouse and "Don't Stop Believing" was playing on the radio. Coincidence? I think not! EDIT: Oh, it's 4 minutes after 4pm now.
 
He doesn't want to play football. He wants to be a rapper. But he isn't going to make $14.5 million this year off his rap music.

I don't hate him or wish anything bad on him. Hope he has some insurance in place. If I were him, I'd stay off the basketball court, out of any fast cars, and generally bubble-wrap myself for the next several months.

This will go down as one of the dumbest free agency moves of any player in history. Just threw away $14.5 million by not going to work. He may make more money in the future but he'll never get that money back.

As i said before, he accomplished his original goal of resetting the market for RBs, but then his decision making went to ****.

I don't know if it was bad advice or just stupidity.

Bell has been doing things from the beginning to stay in the news cycle. He knew that if he gave his plans upfront, he would fade from the news by mid-season. So he has milked the press for all it was worth, thinking that would build his brand. Two things have now happened. He has tarnished his brand by continually misleading his team and two he will fade during the last half of the season. There is no reason now for the media to care what he says or does because he has effectively made himself irrelevant until next year. Seems to me it will be tough for him to wake up next week and realize that he is now yesterday's news and his name will no longer dominate the NFL news cycle. His ego is about to take a huge hit!
 
We should have go e the *'s way, signed him to a $5/year contract and invested $10m/year in the label that signs him for rap music.

He woulda gotten rhe money he wanted and we wouldn't have hurt our cap.

Id like a better backup than what i expect from Ridley and with more experience than JaySam
 
Screw Bell. He's an over rated ( Compare his 2017 to Conner's 2018 ) expensive locker room cancer, who probably could not pass an NFL drug test if given to him right now.

I'm only interested in the extra cap space, and what we get in terms of a compensatory pick if he signs elsewhere in free agency.

I predict he won't be as good on other teams.
 
Is this going to be the official, he's gone, butt hurt thread? Hopefully so, that way this can be the last time I have to hear about it. The Steelers are fine without him as long as Conner is healthy. Time to move on.

Yeah, compare 8 games to a whole career and only pick one year out of a career. Dumbass.

There have been zero reports that he was a cancer when he was here.

WTF Ark, The guy used social media to troll Colbert and the Steelers. The OL repudiated him earlier. How can you say he was not a cancer?

Conner through 8 games in 2018 is better than Bell's first or last eight games in 2017. Much cheaper and younger too,

I hope the Steelers forget about him. I Was on record trying to get him to sign the tag and trade him when teams had lots of cap space before the draft.

I hope Bell makes less than 14.5 million a year in 2019.
