I wonder if his hot air balloon is waiting in the parking lot???
LOL. Shut the door. you win.

If he manages to void this contract and end up in a better situation, the league is in big trouble. He seems to be providing the blueprint for other petulant players. If he infact threatened the GM with violence and is fired because of it, the league should sit him down indefintely.

So question. If they cut AB would you welcome him back if the Steelers could get him reasonably priced and no or little guaranteed money?
I heard through vine you were bitching about this, and though not surprised given it’s you we’re talking about....
This logic is as far of the reservation as AB is.

Indeed, if he threatened to punch Mayock in the face - evidently in front of plenty of witnesses - you would think the league would step in and doll out their own punishment. I'm pretty sure there's a passage in the collective bargaining agreement re player conduct that would address physically threatening a team's coach or GM like that.

I still think this was a good deal for the Raiders. They gave up very little to get AB. Yes, they gave him a new contract but they had plenty of money so even if AB is a total bust after a season and they decide to cut him, it won’t kill their cap.

Raj need to step in, fire AB and mark him ineligible for rehire in the league.
Give the Steelers 20M back in cap space.
Award the Raiders a 3 and 6 compensatory picks.
sue AB for every penny they can recoup.
Since we know baby AB lives his life through social media, looks like ****'s getting real.

It’s completely logical. People are arguing that AB had no value and the steelers were smart to take what they could get. The fact Buffalo offered a 1 proves that wasn’t true.
AB is a greedy, me first guy. It is not at all far fetched to think that if the steelers had worked with AB and his agent on setting up a trade, In other words, giving AB everything he wanted, that AB would have cooperated.
Trading AB was right. I give the steelers credit for recognizing he had to go. But that does not mean they made a good deal on the trade itself.
If you buy that a 3rd rounder was the best the steelers could have gotten for AB then fine. I strongly disagree especially when you see Houston give TWO 1st round picks for Laremy Tunsil.
so you see where the Steelers were asking for not only a first round pick but a high first round pick. Thus, Buffalo offered their high first round pick. Deal was made, it was agreed to and **** was processing or starting to process at the NFL Offices.
Then Rosenhaus wakes AB up, he throws furniture, goes on a social media tirade and Buffalo says "hold up"
Now, the commodity value has plummeted tremendously.
As such, the Steelers were trying to salvage what they could.

Regardless, that’s 30 million plus his first year’s salary they could have spent on other players.
I hope he's home packin'...

Antonio Brown’s contract includes standard language that voids guarantees for, among other things, not practicing and leaving the club without written approval. I still strongly disagree. The decision to trade AB was correct, nobody disputes that. But the steelers still mishandled the negotiation and didn’t get enough.
If you own a stock that is $100 per share and it drops all the way down to $20 per share a few months later, did you make a good trade if you sold it at $40? No, you may have been right to unload it at 40 but you should have sold it when it was at 90 or 80.
I’ll say it every time. The steelers could have kept AB happy for just a few more weeks by praising him publicly and working with his agent to make a trade happen. AB would have been fully on board with getting traded to Oakland and getting a new contract. All they had to do was kiss AB’s *** a few more weeks and they could have gotten fair value for him.
