Could we be 8-8 again?

If so, it will mark the 3rd time in 5 years we are 8-8, and post a non-winning season....and the head coach shouldn't be on a hot seat for a 5-year span like that?

This isn't Cleveland.

We have witnessed miracles lately (Trump winning even against colossal voter fraud and attack dog media). Can we even hope for a Cool Shades departure?

3 out of 5 seasons not posting a winning record? Come on. And WITH a franchise QB.

If the injuries keep piling up we'll make 8-8 easy.

This game will tell so much of what this team is made of. When is someone going to step up and be a leader.

I would think that is the worse case scenario.

But there is a lot of things that point to that being a possibility.

8-8 looks to be true

If we don't reverse the continuous repetitive issues that happen every time they play a .300 team, we will be lucky to earn a wildcard slot.

Something has to give already. I don't even know which Steelers team will show up anymore. If Tomlin remains. Then a shake up in the coaching staff. If Ben is making mistakes, turn him into a game manager like the way Cowher had him

if the coaches would just coach

;0

our beloved team would be sitting pretty

This team has been seeing the same results the past 5 years. Why is the coaching staff that blind? Always wonder. These guys are NFL athletes. So not being athletic enough can't be a factor. If so, then a lot falls on Colbert and scouting. And yeah it does fall on the coaches to implement these players into their system. Easier said than done I guess

On record that Colbert and Tomlin predraft agree on players on their boards. But you have to wonder what changed from hitting on first round picks yearly to

not

I'm still hopeful for 9-7 or even 10-6. It will take 10-6 to win the division and make the playoffs. Too far behind to make a wild card. We must win all 4 of our remaining division games and then one more. Seeing how they play this week against a very good and well balanced Dallas team will tell us alot - that and their next road game.

If only the players would just play.

their playing just like shit

a lot of penalties
sloppy play
****** pay calling
bad time management
bad in every facet of the team
one game it's this area one game it is that area
very inconsistent

which tells me the head coach

isn't doing his job well

this weekend is close to being a must win

Been saying that for years. Apparently Colbert somehow became instantly retarded back around 2008.

I hear a lot of this as an excuse...."the CBA doen't let them practice like in the old days"....... Well ALL TEAMS live under the CBA rules, why do others do SO MUCH BEtTER? Our main problem is CONSISTANCY which is directly affected by coaching. **** this candy assed cater to the athlete type ****. My way or the highway would be more my approach to the coaching. Mix in the genuinity caring and actually coach abilities up. FUNDIMENTALS, then game plan. Pull a player if they aren't trying or committed as that would jump start things. I've always said if a player doesn't want to perform then find one who does. A player gets paid the same win or lose so if the player is accepting of that fact, that is a good indication they will be looking for work elsewhere.

Salute the nation

which is directly affected by coaching.

this egg and chicken debate has been going on for awhile.

Thing is certain teams that are prone to winning do not consistently have the same problems over and over and over again.....

When you can't coach up your team to win must win division games, we have to bring in someone who can, it really is that simple.

If the team is never earning that first round bye and either missing or squeezing into the playoffs yearly, then you won't accomplish the ultimate prize.

That should be every fans ultimate want. Instead of being content with mediocre to less than mediocre.

Right now the only way this team will beat a playoff team is if they are the Bengals, who are prone to ******* up worse than they are.

What I would do for a X and O coach that can make game adjustments. Or at least be in their face or ******* benching them for some sort of result.

Standing there doing nothing, staring with a cool pair of shades is the least desired approach.

I think that is what annoys me about this coach the most. He thinks he is smarter than everyone else. But does nothing during a game to come across like he knows what he is doing.

Which is why, cheating or not, the hated Darth Hoodie is the best coach in the game. He does all the above better than anyone else.

other coaches besides him do a excellent job too

thing is that man is still cheating and will be until the day he quits. so I will not give someone props for being a lowlife cheater

never have never will

I get all that but you don't have to cheat to play good fundamental football and make very few mistakes, which Hoodie's teams do and Tomlin's teams don't. Also Hoodie will cut your *** in a heartbeat if you don't do the job while Tomlin hangs on to players who don't, and ones that are chronically hurt, and ones who are chronically on the chronic.
