That never happens in Pittsburgh. We'll be 9-7 or 10-6. Hell, we might even WIN OUR DIVISION. Of course we'll **** the bed in the playoffs. Be outclassed by someone who always happens to be "healthier" or "fresher" or "at home" or some other excuse.
And this organization will bullshit it's propaganda machine to tell you "We're so close!" "Nothing needs to change" "Another non-losing season" "Only a game or two away from glory".
And next year the whole story will rewind and start again.

I think we are in "unleash hell" territory.
I don't know...if the Steelers don't bounce back and beat the Cowboys tomorrow, I can see the wheels coming off this thing, and even 8-8 might be a stretch.
No gimmes on the schedule, except for the Browns (at least they should be gimmes): @ Colts, Giants, @ Bills, @ Bengals, Ravens. Any of those games could go either way, and God help us all if the Browns are able to prevent a winless season by upsetting the Steelers.

Based on simple arithmetic 3 of 5 seasons were actually winning records, Including the last two.

I could see 8-8 or even 7-9, we're .500 and so are most of our remaining opponents.
As much as it disappoints me, I think I'd rather the Steelers be out of the playoff picture by Christmas than be saying at the end of the season "If only we hadn't loss the (fill in the blank) game" after we miss the playoffs by one game.

Thanks nice guy, no difficulties what so ever. I was sarcastically showing Pop's opinionated negativity threads regardless of any outcome even before it happens. If you read the thousands he have made, you could figure it out. But if you feel you need to be Pop's mother, have at it. But he's an adult, I'm sure he can take care of himself. Two consecutive winning seasons since 2013, and he's griping 4-4 at the halfway point. Anything can happen. They could lose out (unlikely) or win out, also unlikely. But finishing 10 - 6 or 9 - 7 is just as possible as finishing 8 - 8 or even 7 - 9. Depends on your mentality. Glass half empty/Glass half full.

I don't think I'll watch the Browns game. Even if the Steelers blow them out, it won't ease the complete disappointment of the past 5 weeks, anything short of that is just more disappointment.
