What the **** does "9.68 times less likely" mean?
The topic is irrelevant. This makes zero sense, because the words do not work together.
For example, if a Steeler fan had a 10% chance of his/her favorite team win the next game, then saying that someone else has "9.68 times less likely" chance of watching their team win the next game would mean what, exactly? Do you mean a 96.8% chance of not winning, or a 1% chance of winning?
When you write "times less" do you really mean "divided by"?
"Times more likely..." makes sense, because a number times a number larger than one is actually bigger.

This thread is approaching the level of insanity, so I will attempt to inject some level of sense into this.

Trog, I know you are very, very busy, but perhaps you can indulge me by answering just one simple question, realizing that you ONLY have just shy of 9,000 posts.

Should EVERYONE be required to get the vaccine? Yes or No will suffice. Thank you in advance.

You claim their cases are coming from kids. The state disagrees with you: Rates of COVID-19 are highest among Vermonters 20-29 years old with a rate of 761.5 per 10K - or an 8% infection rate.

Can you show me any example of any person in this country being mandated to show a vaccine card to access a gym, an airplane, a restaurant, their place of employment, a grocery store, a Federal building for diptheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, measles, rubella and chickenpox?

If I wasn't vaccinated for any of those as a child...if I immigrated to this country from a country where they weren't mandated...must I show them to go to work?

Sweden suspends Moderna Vaccine for teenagers​


Sweden will pause the use of Moderna’s Covid SpikeVax vaccine for people born after 1991.

Data pointed to an increase of myocarditis and pericarditis among Vaccinated teenagers and young adults. “The connection is clear when it comes to Moderna’s vaccine Spikevax, especially after the second dose.”


STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Sweden and Denmark said on Wednesday they are pausing the use of Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine for younger age groups after reports of possible rare cardiovascular side effects.

The Swedish health agency said it would pause using the shot for people born in 1991 and later as data pointed to an increase of myocarditis and pericarditis among youths and young adults that had been vaccinated. Those conditions involve an inflammation of the heart or its lining.

Say your teenaged son had covid. Say you have learned that natural immunity is at least as effective if not moreso than a vaccine

Say you have learned that a couple thousand young men who got the vaccine got myocarditis.

Say you are told your son must get the vaccine anyway. Even though he doesn't need it and apparently there is a small but fully acknowledged by science risk of myocarditis from getting it.

How do you respond to that? Just asking, since it's not that complicated.

That has nothing to do with this! **** Tibs this isn't close to the same thing. This **** doesn't touch kids statistically speaking. H1N1 was the type of thing we needed to vaccinate kids for this is isn't. Pure science. Real vaccines that stop diseases that actually harm kids and stops the spread with proper testing. THIS AINT IT!
