Cry baby Brown at it again.. suspended?

this is better than any movie script. No one could make this **** up. Seriously.

oh absolutely. A few days ago I was just tired of the clown and wanted the season to start. But finding out Burfict had to hold AB back from wanting to hit TV personality turned GM hooked me back. Between all that, twitter un-likes, and the funny *** comments here...well...nothing on Netflix gonna beat this. Hope my wife got popcorn while she was at the store.

Yeah man, best movie ever. And all this, without even a single game being played. Who wudda' thought?

AB couldn't have caught Rice. He's much too far behind late in his career.

Regarding the Raiduh's plans to suspend... It turns out that the only way they can completely get out of any money owed on the guaranteed salary for this season is if "he's inactive for the first game of the season.". Oakland may know exactly what they're doing. Even if they only suspend him 1 game, that gives them the leverage at ANY point this season to cut him loose and retain all the remaining guaranteed money for the rest of this season and all of next season.

IE, he'll have to play to get paid. And he'll have to tow the line and avoid ANY conduct detrimental to the team horse-****.

The Raiders have him right where they want him.

Finally, if they DO cut him loose after his behavior, the league had BETTER lay down some suspension in order to dissuade players in the future from doing exactly what he's done with his last 2 teams.

just imagine if they do suspend his *** for week 1, they lose and expect AB back at practice on Tuesday.

What you write makes perfect sense. I just don't think you can threaten to punch the GM in the face in front of the whole team and...well, continue playing for that team.

AB can now help OJ look for the real killer... he’s just being a nice guu

AB can look for the real killer and O.J. can look for who was throwing furniture off AB's balcony.

Isn't this the same type of **** that Legarrette Blount pulled, just on a different level? Act a fool, **** up, get yourself cut, and the *Cheats swoop in and pick you up? Wouldn't shock me in the least if all of this is by design so AB can ultimately get where he really wants to be.

He’ll be giving up 30 mil for that move.. seems really stupid but makes sense coming from him.

If the Raiders do end up releasing AB, the league better have something in place to prevent another team from swooping-in and grab him. A one year ban at least.

I don't think the Pats have the cap space for this clown.

I said it before, with all of AB's stunts, proven or not (just like Ben and countless others), he should be suspended for conduct detrimental to the league. I doubt they would get more than 3 games because the union will fight it but they should be able to at least do that.

I think AB may have a future in the UFC as an undercard type guy.

Or WWE where they throw furniture at each other.

Meanwhile, these Steelers are looking happy and relaxed (gotta love those guys):

Trading AB was right. I give the steelers credit for recognizing he had to go. But that does not mean they made a good deal on the trade itself.

If you buy that a 3rd rounder was the best the steelers could have gotten for AB then fine. I strongly disagree especially when you see Houston give TWO 1st round picks for Laremy Tunsil.

"Oh, but Houston traded [x] for this guy." You really cannot do this. The Houston deal involved two 1sts, a 2nd, three other players, the Dolphins 4th and 6th round picks, where the key player in the deal, Tunsil, is incredibly affordable in 2019 and reasonably affordable in 2020, and involves a 25-year old offensive tackle, whose shelf lives are vastly more than RB's and WR's. There are so many different moving parts to that deal that it simply has no comparison to the Brown trade.

Now, you can point to the Cowboys in-season deal last year to get Amari Cooper for a 1st round pick. Okay. Cooper is 25, Brown is 31. Significant difference. Unfortunately, Brown also is a headcase. He blew off a medical appointment, was injured or not injured, and was suspended for the final game of the 2018 season. Those are facts, not opinions.

So if a 25-year old WR with no headcase issues, and who was more affordable (holdout notwithstanding), is worth a 1st rounder, what is a 31-year old WR with significant contract demands and a history of tantrums worth?

A 1st rounder from Buffalo that headcase torched, and a 3rd and 5th from the Faiders.

even threatening his GM? I think in any other profession that is an immediate firing.
