Robbed!!

They have made the catch rule so vague and complicated that they can all whatever they want on any play and then point to something in the rule that makes them right.

Notice how even when they have rule experts on to review the rule, they end up guessing the opposite of the call on the field like half the time. Then without missing a beat, they then re-explain themselves by quoting a different part of the rule and agreeing with the call.

This "going to the ground" stuff is nonsense. Just think of how absurd it is whenever we see a guy catch the ball at the sideline, get both feet inbounds, then we have to watch the replay to see if the ball moves even the slightest bit while he rolls around on the ground out of bounds.

Yes, the steelers were robbed. They would have you believe this rule is clear but it's not. Refs are deciding games by themselves now. This is the latest example.

Which is why the rule is bullshit. He had two ******* hands on the ball. Which is why they called it complete to begin with on the field. Their catch rule has been broken for a decade or more.
 
the refs/shady rules play too big a part in the outcome of these games. They interpret the rules that are so insane, they have to go to NY to get an official ruling. Should never be this way. Why wasn't there a PI call on the Bryant TD? He caught it with one arm because the DB was holding his other arm and no flag anywhere! They are incompetent and make too many mistakes that causes very questionable outcomes. Fans don't watch the NFL because of the officials.
 
How do you not have possession of the ball when you have the awareness that you're short of the goal line and push the ball over the line?

He was stretching as he was going down. Its not like he caught the ball and crawled into the EZ. To me him catching / reaching into ther EZ is all one motion and therefore needed to establish the catch. The ball moved and at least the nose hit the ground so was an incomplete pass. I do not think he did a football move before the ball crossed the line
 
You can try to explain it away with any obscure rule you want. When you watch the video it doesn't pass the eye test.

Yes....he most certainly did. He made a tucking motion while the ball was secured (aka a football move) THEN stretched out. Watch that ******* again and tell me he didn't.
 
Secured catch. Genre down. Goes forward as a runner. Doesn’t need to maintain possession at the patient. Just has to touch the front of the paint

Yep. Oh, and how about the blatant block in the back on the Patsies' punt return???? ******* drive should have started at the 10 yard line, but the only 7 mother$#C@&ers on the planet who did not see the block in the back were the ignorant, blind dicksuckers wearing striped jerseys.

Romo and Nance even called out the block in the back. WTF! That is called 10/10 times, but not tonight and the field position alters their play calling. Terrible. Terrible.
