Judgement Day "Shady Brady" vs. Roger - OFFICIAL THREAD

Well, you see, poor wittle tommy cant have his way and he is such a special boy... he should be allowed to cheat cause everyone cheats, just look at the rest of the Patriots, they cheat all the time and no one has ever busted them too badly before... I mean past precedent states that the league has to destroy the evidence for him, right?... oh wait he is innocent... that text was about losing weight and he always destroys his cell phones like that....

Are Patriots fans really that blind. One out of a hundred has a real perspective the rest are ******* assclowns. Every other teams fanbase knows that he is guilty of everything.

Wow. The full report really spells it out. Most damning fact of all? Brady claims he always has his old cell phones destroyed when he gets a new one, yet the NFLPA presented evidence from a forensic expert they hired AFTER the discipline was handed down (well after Brady destroyed his phone) where he examined Brady's previous old phone that he used from early 2014 through the time in November last year when he got the phone he destroyed.

Things that make ya go hmmmmmmmmm.

Further - talking heads on ESPN just said that if Brady takes it to court and is able to play until his appeal is heard, IF he loses his appeal, he'd then face the possibility of not playing in December or January.

How selfish can he be? Do the crime, do the time. Come back to the media accolades and fawning and drop 50 points per game while "not cheating".

Or maybe he's scared that at his age that Jimmy Garopaoloeiepoaoe will take his place?

I think it's really too risky for him to go to court based on what SAS said earlier. Plus court may say they don't have jurisdiction and won't take his case.
Janine Garafolo ain't taking his place permanently anytime soon.

You know, I've been thinking ... Tom was a young, impressionable guy when SpyGate happened. Maybe he thought back on how Rog' destroyed the tapes back then and thought he was doing Rog' a favor by destroying his cell phone. That way it removed the necessity for Rog' to destroy it himself for "the integrity of the game".

If this is about his legacy, Brady would have been smart to do exactly what he did and then when the judgement was handed down said "In hindsight, I should have cooperated with the investigation."

He is really saying "Sure, I had something to hide, but so what? The NFL didn't find it. I win!"

That only sounds good to Pats fans who are in denial.

I cannot WAIT to watch First Take tomorrow and see Skip's head explode. This will be golden.

My head just exploded. Skip thinks Brady is 100% innocent.

OMG, what??? I usually see the show, but missed it. For real, he thinks he's innocent??

He is the Hillary Clinton of the NFL

Poor Kraft is mad and upset. Big ****** deal.

I watched a sport show in Canada yesterday after the decision. The guy was emotional and basically yelling "this is about air in a football". What I realized at that point is that short of Tom Brady making a full confession it will just never matter what the evidence is. Those who support him will just not accept that he cheated. HE ****** CHEATED, but there is no point in me wasting my breath about it. If people expected the level of evidence they seem to want here, virtually every murderer would walk free. I would imagine that Richard Nixon's supporters continued to believe his innocence for years after Watergate, but in the long time that has rolled since, the almost unanimous majority accept that he did wrong. Think this will run a similar course. But they will let him in the HOF though. That is just fact. Might be enough writers who can see the truth that he might lose first ballot status.

this is long from over. The paranoid side of me says this is just a stunt to make it look like the NFL tried to punish the pats and little Tom but in the end he will be allowed to play

He will only be allowed to play because from what I can surmise there is some gimmick judge in Minnesota that hears all of these appeals and he will likely grant the injunction. Regular judges want nothing to do with this **** because if they didn't accept legal arbitrator decisions (which Goodell is) the justice system would grind to a halt. It will never see a courthouse because Brady won't expose himself to perjury charges with two low level team employees knowing the real truth and the ability to subpoena text records.

If so hopefully he ends up in a sandwich between Harrison and Tuitt and McCullers and is crushed and out for the season, on the first play of the game!

Yes. I **** you not. Bayless has since gone on to say that Goodell is on a quest to tarnish the reputation of the greatest QB of all time and that it's not fair.

Tom just can't help getting in his own way...

Cheated...

Lied...

Tried to cover it up...

Destroyed his phone...

Asked the NFLPA to offer a "settlement" to placate the commissioner...

Ya. He's not guilty.

Cause innocent guys refuse to cooperate, destroy their phones, and offer settlements.

I always say those who deny the loudest are typically the ones that are GUILTY !!

Think back about all the OTHER players that have gotten into trouble ... Which one were guilty and said they were innocent .. and which ones sat back and let it play out -- without ANY comment ..

Gee --
