If they are completely gutting the team and starting over, then no, I don't want Rodgers back and he wouldn't want to come back.
If the Steelers plan is to go all in this offseason, then yes, I want Rodgers back. Outside of a couple of poor games, he played well overall last year in spite of the coaching handicap on that side of the ball. I'd be fine with Rodgers coming back next year if management plans to to go all in.
I don't know if going all in is wise at this point, I guess we will see what happens.
Many on here can't stand Rodgers and never have a good thing to say about him ever. However, he was by far the best thing the team had going on offense last year and it wasn't even close. The guy knows football and can still throw it 60 yards. I'd like to see him back playing with better receivers and more familiarity with the offense considering his ties with the team's new head coach.
I have zero desire to watch the team, as is, with Howard, or some rookie QB, behind center next year unless they are cleaning house. If that's their plan, then don't draft a QB during the first two days of the draft this year and go with Howard Wait for next season and a better draft pick depending on what Howard shows.
