I prefer Evans for now as he's an all-around talent vs. the run or pass, with blitzing options and was battle tested in the SEC, but let's see how they work out first. I have seen Evans on film, and he's impressive, perhaps too impressive and won't be there for us to draft.
Vander Esch could be one of those players that can neutralize and cover Tight Ends as he's tall, with what looks like long arms, and fluid movement ( fluid movements according to reports ). Coving the TE has been Steeler weakness for years, and the way the NFL is trending a nickel linebacker who can cover is a need. I want to see Vander Esch on the bench at the combine, as he's built a bit like a basketball player might lack functional playing strength vs. NFL competition.
