Where's all my Tomin haters who were talking all that "5 years w/o playoff win" ****

if only they could play back qbs every week

****** weather and on the road against ta solid D

and they win

I can't really see the complaints

on the Steelers side of things........

refs were the only reason the bungholes were even in the game...

The Bunholes still almost got that game handed to them. I do agree however. The only complaint on the Steelers side was Landry Jones

Youre arguing against common sense. Every coach would go for 2 in that instance. The game announcers said although they questioned a couple Tomlins 2pt attempts this season, they said this instance was the right call.

Theres no degrees to right or wrong.......it was the correct decision. In the league with the extra point moved back, there is no automatic extra point. The success rate is like 78%....that's not a guarantee. Our 2pt success is around 72% for the season if you need to compare]

WTF are you smoking ? The success rate for extra points is around 95 % not even close to the 78% stat you are pulling out of your ads to try and make Tomlin look somewhat competent.

yeah Landry can't force that ball in there.... it was a bad throw...

Come on guys.. let's enjoy this playoff journey. No need to argue the good coach, bad coach stuff.

Let's go to Denver and take care of our damn business!

I am not the biggest Tomlin supporter, but he won in a hostile environment

they had to fight

dirty players
****** refs
bad weather

sorry I can't go against Tomlin in this game, he had the team showing heart........

We went into Cincinnati in a playoff game without a starting RB, in rainy conditions, and against the league's 11th best defense. in fact, the Bungles defense gave up the 2nd fewest points allowed this season.

and won.

people complain.

nothing new.

yeah I was critic of Tomlin rightfully so earlier

as he had some repetitive problems

IMO none of them reared their ugly head in that game

I have to give the man his due when it is deserved

and IMO he was deserved of props last night

I'm confused what people think were so terrible about the refs? I think Cinci got the short end of the deal. Shaziers hit was a penalty (see other thread). Sure we did not get the TD, but he Bengals should have had the ball deep in our territory. Both teams had a lot of penalties it was an ugly game.

I do not think it was well coached, but not terrible. The worst call was when Ben got sacked. I do not understand the argument of going / not going for 2. Either option is viable. 2 Tds and 2 2pts or 3 scores are both tough to overcome.

AJ was terrible the first half and we could not take advantage. Conditions were rough, but seemed like it was raining more for Cinci. I did not mind the patient short game plan. We were not scoring TDs, but we were comfortably in control. Then Ben got hurt and the D fell apart, and the rest is history.

Cinci had the game wrapped up but self-imploded. They should have taken a knee and kicked a Fg. After that the 2 personal fouls were atrocious. We will definitely need to step out up next week.

Ok

Refs didn't have control of the game, Burdick should have been ejected. It was a **** show and they were responsible for not getting it under control.
They had no business blowing that Shaizier recovery play dead, that 7 points was significant in leaving them in the game.

Just these two reasons alone was enough to call their performance a fail.

The win gives Tomlin a pass for this year, but my criticisms of him stand.

The personal fouls for excessive celebration (like any dead ball penalty) are NOT excusable. Anyone who dismisses them is a moron.

Nobody had control of that game. The Steelers had a ton of penalties. If the refs had thrown Burdick out then the Steelers probably lose. It was a **** show and nobody had control over it. Lewis should be fired and the refs should be reprimanded and told to start throwing players out. I give little credit to Tomlin except that he was able to keep the players somewhat under control. The bungles lost this game. They lost their starting safety and CB and had a backup QB. This game shouldn't have even been close. Bad coaching on offense. I understand it was pouring but how can you lose to a team with those injuries and a backup rookie QB with 1:23 and have to rely on them fumbling the ball and having 2 personal foul penalties to win? Just a horrible game.

I'd venture to say the injury to Ben and AB are bigger than their injuries. The Bungles nearly won because of it. We were playing in slop. Scoring was going to be difficult no matter how you slice it.

Also Vegas had this game as a 2pt win for the Steelers, so I don't know how anyone would expect a blowout. Would have been nice to watch though!

I get the point of your post but he wasn't a rookie.

Dirty hits on Ben and Antonio have me thinking otherwise

Blurfrekt is such an *******.

Big *** win for the Steelers, Go Steelers!

Steelers were badly outcoached, particularly Haley. Steelers won because McCarron can't throw a wet ball and the Bengal self destructed.

The Bengals lost their starting S and CB and the steelers still couldn't move the ball through the air aside from a big run after catch by AB. Haley never figured out what the Bengals were doing.

Maybe but we were without our top two RB's on a day when passing was difficult.

bad weather messes with passing which is the Steelers strength

My only complaint would be not challenging Wheaton's fumble.

Other than that, good job Mike T.

I understand about blowing the play dead, but the ball was kinda hidden. However like i said that was 100% a penalty on Shazier. So you can give the refs a fail for not calling the penalty, but the TD should have never happened. As for control of the game i think the refs did a pretty good job for all the was going on. I mean how is a ref going to stop a coach from pulling hair. If you tossed out every personal foul there would have been no players left.

Can we change the name of this thread or lock it?

There is no need for in-fighting after a fantastic playoff win!

They need to be called out.

There are people on this board who root for us to lose. That **** really pisses me off. Somebody started a thread saying they'd rather go 0-16 to get rid of Tomlin than win.

We have TRAITORS on this forum. That **** should not be allowed to stand.
