I am very positive when it comes to my team. I'm an optimist by nature, but I understand human nature and I'm a realist when it comes to performance.

That being said, there are 3 players in my lifetime, that I couldn't stand in black and gold. Mark Malone drove me insane. Sean Mahan is my vote for the worst Steeler starter in our history. And last year I blasted Blake and his poor footwork (often leaving him on the ground after tripping over his own feet on a double move).

I wan't a fan of Hank Poteat's punt returns. That dude shook back and forth on PRs, I could have sworn he was seizing! If it wasn't so comical to watch, I would have hated him. Plus he was a decent defender.

Sean Mahan was ouch. Since I was a 90's kiddo. My least favorite Steelers. All in the 2000 era. Tommy Maddox 2003 Josh Miller when he started punting for the cheats, Todd Peterson---seemed the Steelers had field goal problems before Jeff Reed. Antwon Blake for reasons you mentioned

Man, that was one of our worst drafts in modern history. DD is solid, Beachum was a nice late pick. That is pretty damn ****** for the "smartest guys in the room."

I got banned a few years ago for a bit over the Paterno and PSU stuff. My gripe was not with as much with the people wanting to pile on Paterno, but they were saying things like the university should have to pay a huge fine and all that. My kid was going to PSU at the time, and I made the statement about that not being fair as the cost of said fine would be transferred to kids who are trying to pay for college, who had nothing to do with anything. Someone said to hell with my daughter and I lost my ****. I made a threat or two and got banned.

Ah, well, they let me back. With this latest stuff on Paterno it reminded me of that.

I can see a point could be made with the above, but I have never seen MA show any signs of being worth two *****. Rushers could either run around or through him, which ever they felt like. He has always been terrible and never showed any signs of being anything put putrid, from what I ever observed.

Was glad they gave him a chance. Thought he could be worth that pick. Too bad he wasn't.

I had hopes for the guy too, I especially like to see local guys on the team, but after his second year I could kinda see there was nothing there.
