Its not too late to start banning them.
Banning sucks! I don't care how ****** up someone is or how they try and rile everyone up, I enjoy it. Have always hated the bannings. People are fun to play with...

I know some are ********...but that's life
Tmc put in hundreds of hours of film work, because he had a passion for it. He'd evaluate 300 college players just for fun. Then millenials with uneducated opinions would blast TMC, because they disagreed. They would attack hits hours put in, like it would be a negative on this site.
The ******* kids are gone, and there is a system in place to keep this site civil. It's now safe for TMC of any new poster to come in and share opinions. The trash has been taken out so hopefully he'll return.
And I will still tolerate your stupid *** on this site and would look forward to meeting you. And all the others. Life is short.
i have never had a problem with ANYONE on this site. I've debated/argued, but still appreciated what anyone was saying.
Have always hated to see anyone leave OR get banned. but that's me....
Thats because millienials have "instant" access to everything these days. Not realizing that guys like TMC puts in the actual studying to know which players would be suited for the pro's. This TMC sounds like a real gem. Can you guys lobby him back?
I like his initials too lol
I think that's currently in the works.
You like his letters. Heck, for a bit, I thought you were him. Then you posted...

Wasn't just the draft analysis.. It was also the cap money and all that stuff.
Why does it take this team 2 years longer than ANY other team to cut bait on obviously ****** players? They take "patience" to a new level....to an unappropriate level.
he left because ******** would follow him from thread to thread throwing up the same stupid bullshit even if it had nothing to do with the topic of the current thread. TMC was excellent at evaluating players and always had sound reasoning behind his opinions. Others who could not support their arguments as well as he did just couldn't let **** go. I should have banned all those fucktards and kept TMC here.
shinin - I guess I just didn't see anything that egregious in that Dri Archer thread, or anything directed towards TMC that hasn't gone on here for years with others.
You're right. I agree with you. He just decided to leave. The point is it isn't something that should be tolerated whether it's TMC or anyone else. We all have a choice to leave or stay but I'm not cool with this idea that it's just how it is and we have to just accept that people are going to come in here and be ******** to other people and go overboard.
Okay shinin, I agree with you in principle. But how in the heck do you want to accomplish that? Ask everyone, please, please, please be nice to each other, don't make jokes that may possibly offend someone, be careful with irony, not everyone gets irony, etc etc.
This is an internet message board with members from all walks of life that come in many shades and sizes. You want to keep discourse free flowing, let people express their views. I don't see how you can eliminate hurt feelings on the internet. Maybe there's a way, just not sure it's been discovered yet.
Of course it is, but that's the nature of sports fandom. You can go across the globe with basically every sport that exists from soccer, hockey, football, baseball and you'll find passionate fans railing against their teams, coaches & players. It's just the way it is. There is no good reason for Steelers fans to be any different. Just part of the human condition. Fans put in so much energy and passion rooting for their teams they feel entitled to insult, berate, deride, what have you. I think most everyone understands that. I too take offense at the negativity, so I try to fight it with as much positivity as I can. I can be critical of the coaches and the players, but at the end of the day I love this team, this franchise. I will almost always choose to defend the black and gold as opposed to belittling them.I understand that as well. We come here on our own and choose to come back on our own. I almost stopped posting here in 2009 when there was almost a full fledged mutiny on here over the losing streak that year. I get being passionate about your team but people were losing their minds. It crossed the line. Personal attacks towards the players, coaches, organization and to other posters who didn't agree with the bitching. I don't agree with everything the Steelers do but I am grateful to be able to be a fan and that they have provided with with many years of great football and I have a ton of respect for the organization as well so it's hard for me to understand how people can act that way even when they disagree or are upset about something. It's immature and ridiculous.

And the 2012 draft as of today just has one player left on the team. DeCastro
