I can tolerate some bad off the field behavior where no one is hurt, but Mike Vick? The guy's a scum bag. Dog Fighting, and those who see it are among the worst type of criminals. NO THANKS. Vick is past his best anyway.

If Bruce is out for an extended period of time I would not feel comfortable having Landry Jones as the backup. Do any of you? I would say Vick is a viable option as he can still move the chains and win some games.

Can Vick still play? Vick is 35 and had a QB rating of 60.4 last season. His accuracy in the past two seasons is has been 54.6 and 52.9 respectively. Do you think he can learn a new offense? Landry Jones would have an edge on him right now.
Exactly. Also look at the Jets offence and look at ours.. And with our back up center situation it's best we bring in someone able to start immediately if needed. True, if Vick can't move the ball with Bell, Brown, Wheaton, Bryant and Miller, then he really is old and busted. My fear with him is the fact that he his a fumble machine. If he does have to do any kind of running at all, he tends to cough up the pig a ton, sometimes when he's not even touched.

Why not? I'm not a huge fan but he's better then anything we have now as a back-up and better than anything on the F/A market. I'd feel better with Vick as the back-up than Jones who still needs a lot of work.

We know Landry can't.
I'd cut him now and sign Vick in a heartbeat.
He is by far the best option we have for a back-up QB - cut Brucie too - wasting spaces on the bench we could use signing other positions
And Bruce Gradkowski's numbers look awesome in comparison?

Landry Jones is our #3 QB and will make the 53-man roster if he's healthy. So you guys who are obsessed with getting him off the team just need to hope he gets injured in one of the next 2 games...that's the only thing that will do it.

His all world game that beat the steelers was worse than Laundry Jones has been doing this preseason. So far everything I see posted links back to the same guy, Ian report was quoting him in another blurb. There are other guys out there Hoyer is meeting somewhere for one. Hell I don't think Bubby is doing anything either and that makes as much sense as bringing in old washed up and piece of **** Michael Vick or Ron Mexico.

I have no problem with giving him a chance - our back-ups are horrible
His teammates in Philadelphia voted him the winner of the Ed Block Courage Award
