This loss is on TOMLIN

I’m more upset that Tomlin didn’t do anything at the end of the first half and just let that **** stand and that he didn’t challenge the fumble by Alex Smith ....he threw the ball backwards. He does nothing for in game adjustments And we run the same 3 yard and under passes 30 times a game

The play was not challengeable...the REFS f'd up by allowing Washington to kick the FG....

I know a lot will say Ben made a bad throw on the play, but typically on that route you see receivers drift to the outside to create separation from the guy in coverage. Just looked like an inexperienced route from an inexperienced player.

Rut roh, Shaggy!!! McFarland is already supposed to be the starting RB according to Outcoached...

Tomlin is a fraud. And the media is just infatuated with him. Never any adjustments whatsoever and just hopes things get sort out during the game. The play calling is atrocious. He still makes same mistakes. Stubborn and arrogant. He may be a motivator but his situational footballs skills along with his Xs and Os are piss poor. The run game started sucking as soon as munchak left. He was our only true coach

Flame this post if you like but this is a typical Tomlin coached team. Days of players making stupid comments about opponents and tons of players making group tiktok videos instead of focusing on catching balls.

11-1 = fraud of a coach. Got it...

Nope...can you spend $8 per month???

I paid for years when I was in high school and college. I've got a kid on the way now and every dollar counts, so you can eat a diaper.

Like you paying makes your half-liner drivel interesting enough to bump the same thread literally 5 times in a row, lol.

We all have problems. My second grandchild is coming in less than a month. My two kids have my car insurance in the four digit mark every month...

When something as little as multiple posts bother you. Skip them and move on. Or pay $8 per month.

Hatchet buried or do you need to vent further???

The Current OL coach is no Munchak. IMO, the drop off has been noticeable.

Munchak last year the Steelers led the league in passing attempts and they averaged 90 yds per game rushing

What an embarrassing post. Ben didn't need amazing WRs to win the SB and that list of WRs of Tomlins havent won ****.

Go back and watch the playoff games leading up to SB in 2005, Ben played great in all those games except the SB. That great defense and running game **** the bed in the SB back in 2008, I think Ben might have had something to do with that win..

You're right, James Harrison didn't have a game changing play at all in that game.

Never once in my post did I say that Ben didn't matter. I said the success isn't ONLY because of Ben. Talk about embarrassing posts...

Our success is because of Ben. Without him we are a .500 team. That much is proven,

McCarthy beat us in the super bowl

Peyton is a little over rated and has had some bad teams, He also has four, and possibly five 13-3 seasons. That is impressive.

Wrong, we were a .500 team with A BACK UP QB. If we didn't have Ben, as in Ben never existed, we wouldn't be trotting out Mason Rudolph as our starting QB.

Peyton overrated? If it not been for the cheating Patriots, he'd have more than two rings. The fact remains, you can have a franchise QB, but if you don't have a good coach to pair with him, you won't have success. See Philip Rivers. Coaching matters too.

All those years with Munch, a younger Oline, and Bell, we were usually in the bottom half of the NFL in yard per carry, ranked in the 20's a couple times, our best year we finished 8th in yards per carry, and that was with Williams starting 10 games.

Look, Tomlin has come light years on strategic coaching, overreliance on player pedigree and vet status, and playing young guys... his one great fault remains nepotism in coordinator hiring... im not sure where else the bitching can come from on him right now

When to use time out still remains an issue. The use of the red flag has been a bit better. How could it be worse? He was something like 0 for his last 16 at one point. He remains a coach that is fined, brining shame to the organization.

You're right on the nepotism thing, but when it comes to choosing his coordinators he flat out sucks, and that cost the Steelers big time. He is not inspiring to me either. After his mistakes are made he has that teary eyed look when down in the 4th quarter...and we lose almost every time he has it.

Tomlin isn't going to be fired this year, even if we are 1 and done in the playoffs and 3-7 in the last ten playoff games.

2020 for the Steelers was easier than most years for two big reasons.

1 ) Our schedule was vey easy, playing the NFC East and having a 2nd place ( 8-8 ) record. Next year it will be much tougher.

2 ) The cap was not an issue this year, nor was free agency. Next year it will be big time issue. So the exit might come after the 2021 season.

When that day comes, maybe some of those that think he's okay will realize what could have been.

Just curious. Can you name specific examples where our TOs weren't properly utilized this year?

I think you knew that answer before you asked it. He is all agenda driven spouting bullshit over and over again. There is no intelligence mixed in.

Redskins game we saved like 12 seconds by burning the 2 TOs before the 2 min warning.

I'll die on the hill that using them before the 2 min warning is an absolute waste. I don't give a **** if it's "conventional" and the same **** coaches have been doing for decades--it makes no sense.

I'll gladly give up the extra 40 seconds to save my time outs for a last second drive. Having timeouts to spare in 1 min drill vs having no timeouts in 2 min drill is a world of difference. That "extra time" you save is just run off while you're setting up for your next play because 90% of the time the defense keeps you in bounds or you have to take something over the middle and run around trying to spike it.

Having those TOs gives you the entire field to work with rather than just outside the hash. It makes the defenses play on their heels with the only advantage being that they know you're passing. When they know you need to get OOB to stop the clock the offense is fighting an uphill battle.

Steelers had 1 TO and the 2min warning. You can't get much better than that when you start a drive to win the game...

If you're talking about gettin a chance to get the ball back after that terrible interception, they still got the ball back. Ebron needs to fight for the OOB in that situatoin.

He’s been fined twice Dumb ***. Once several years ago for the sideline hop and this year for COVID sideline mask protocol. The second is a joke, because every game every coach has violated that protocol.

Shame to the organization, yeah....sure, there is no agenda here you pathetic little man. He’s only in consideration for Coach of the year, is on the league’s Competition Committee, widely lauded by coaches and players alike....except maybe Harbaugh.

Nepotism...hardly. Butler was with Cowher years before Tomlin was hired, and he was still the LB coach DC in waiting until LeBeau left. Fichtner was the WR coach until he replaced Ken Anderson as QB coach and then Arians as the OC three years later. Sure all three were together for one year at Memphis. One..year.

They have no control over the schedule, no team does. Only two at large games are impacted by their previous year record. It’s Any Given Sunday for this league, so schedule rankings are a red herring.

As for your cap issue comment. Ridiculous, and shows how much you don’t know about the economics of the pro game. We are at the cap, EVERY YEAR. Because we try to retain our players, dabble in FA periodically.

Your hate for this coach is obvious and the rationale is borderline idiotic, as much as psychological. Unless it’s something else.

More rant level agenda motivated drivel. The standard BS you add to this board in your OP threads and posting.
