There are these too;

I even like the satire and let it into my head on occasion too..

Soros has admitted to helping start revolutions, funding radicals and attacking national currencies. His insider trading conviction in France cost him $3 million and has been upheld by European courts repeatedly. His foundations have been opposed by nations around the globe, yet almost the only negative press he has received on ABC, CBS and NBC was linked to a sex scandal with a 28-year-old Brazilian actress.

Such a fine man he is that Uncle George.

Back to winning...an important message from the leader of the free world. Here he is speaking from the WH yesterday. Thank God Trump has his eye on the ball and his priorities in order. I used to think it was a combination of being sociopath and snorting adderall, I'm pretty sure he's moved on to smoking crack, at this point.

Take it away, Plumber-in-chief:

"We have a situation where we're looking very strongly at sinks and showers, and other elements of bathrooms ... You turn on the faucet and you don't get any water … People are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times."

The letter written and signed by the 500+ legal scholars is well worth reading.

We, the undersigned legal scholars, have concluded that President Trump engaged in impeachable conduct.

We do not reach this conclusion lightly. The Founders did not make impeachment available for disagreements over policy, even profound ones, nor for extreme distaste for the manner in which the President executes his office. Only “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors” warrant impeachment. But there is overwhelming evidence that President Trump betrayed his oath of office by seeking to use presidential power to pressure a foreign government to help him distort an American election, for his personal and political benefit, at the direct expense of national security interests as determined by Congress. His conduct is precisely the type of threat to our democracy that the Founders feared when they included the remedy of impeachment in the Constitution.

We take no position on whether the President committed a crime. But conduct need not be criminal to be impeachable. The standard here is constitutional; it does not depend on what Congress has chosen to criminalize.

Impeachment is a remedy for grave abuses of the public trust. The two specific bases for impeachment named in the Constitution — treason and bribery — involve such abuses because they include conduct undertaken not in the “faithful execution” of public office that the Constitution requires, but instead for personal gain (bribery) or to benefit a foreign enemy (treason).

Impeachment is an especially essential remedy for conduct that corrupts elections. The primary check on presidents is political: if a president behaves poorly, voters can punish him or his party at the polls. A president who corrupts the system of elections seeks to place himself beyond the reach of this political check. At the Constitutional Convention, George Mason described impeachable offenses as “attempts to subvert the constitution.” Corrupting elections subverts the process by which the Constitution makes the president democratically accountable. Put simply, if a President cheats in his effort at re-election, trusting the democratic process to serve as a check through that election is no remedy at all. That is what impeachment is for.

Moreover, the Founders were keenly concerned with the possibility of corruption in the president’s relationships with foreign governments. That is why they prohibited the president from accepting anything of value from foreign governments without Congress’s consent. The same concern drove their thinking on impeachment. James Madison noted that Congress must be able to remove the president between elections lest there be no remedy if a president betrayed the public trust in dealings with foreign powers.

In light of these considerations, overwhelming evidence made public to date forces us to conclude that President Trump engaged in impeachable conduct. To mention only a few of those facts: William B. Taylor, who leads the U.S. embassy in Ukraine, testified that President Trump directed the withholding of hundreds of millions of dollars in military aid for Ukraine in its struggle against Russia — aid that Congress determined to be in the U.S. national security interest — until Ukraine announced investigations that would aid the President’s re-election campaign. Ambassador Gordon Sondland testified that the President made a White House visit for the Ukrainian president conditional on public announcement of those investigations. In a phone call with the Ukrainian president, President Trump asked for a “favor” in the form of a foreign government investigation of a U.S. citizen who is his political rival. President Trump and his Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney made public statements confirming this use of governmental power to solicit investigations that would aid the President’s personal political interests. The President made clear that his private attorney, Rudy Giuliani, was central to efforts to spur Ukrainian investigations, and Mr. Giuliani confirmed that his efforts were in service of President Trump’s private interests.

Ultimately, whether to impeach the President and remove him from office depends on judgments that the Constitution leaves to Congress. But if the House of Representatives impeached the President for the conduct described here and the Senate voted to remove him, they would be acting well within their constitutional powers. Whether President Trump’s conduct is classified as bribery, as a high crime or misdemeanor, or as both, it is clearly impeachable under our Constitution.

God bless this opinion of .0038% of lawyers.

I'm curious, where were they when the former administration used illegally obtained FISA warrants to spy on a Presidential candidate?
Where were their opinions about active spying being conducted on the Presidential candidate, his family and associates with wire taps?
Where were they when the former President spied upon the press to manipulate media coverage in favor of his party?
Where were they when the Democratic party paid for a bogus dossier in order to sully a Presidential candidate and work to ensure the election of their candidate?
Where were they when the former President knew Russia was hacking our elections and he gave a "stand down" order?
Where were they when the DNC staged the primaries to ensure their candidate - not the people's choice - got the nomination?
Where have these lawyers been with countless, endless examples of voter fraud used to swing local, state and national elections, nearly all of which favor Democratic results?

We value their overwhelming majority opinion. Can you find out what they think of these instances of a President or a Presidential candidate or a National political party working actively and illegally to sway election results?

Sounds like we may find out very, very soon:

I hope Steeltime doesn't handle any high end cases, as that's a pretty shoddy analysis to come up with that number. Of course you picked it up and ran with it. It's not the total number of lawyers in the country that's relevant, but the total number of legal scholars, compared to the 520 or so who signed the letter. Not that it matters, just laughed a bit when I saw that.

Regardless, the response is always the same. Mental gymnastics and semantics from the Trump base, twisting in pretzels, blowing in the wind, trying to explain away the indefensable. With you guys of course it's not about the content of the letter, or the meaning behind it....it's the frivolous, circumstantial and irrelevant things you get stuck on... like staring at shiny tinsel. Things like who didn't sign the letter, or which media outlet posted the letter, or what happening years ago with other presidents and why wasn't a similar letter written then?

The fact is, your boy Trump is up to his neck in this impeachment case, whether you want to admit it or not. It's happening, it's real, it's true.

And you can blame the Dems, blame the media, blame Adam Schiff, blame Ukraine, blame Soros, blame Antifa, blame the winter weather, you can blame whoever you want. But Trump is on the verge of being only the third president in history to be impeached. Of course you will never, not even for a millisecond, consider that he himself has something to do with being in this predicament. Nah, that would be way too rational.

Btw, the number of legal scholars who've signed the document - and agree Trump can and should be impeached - is up to 600 as of today. These aren't ambulance chasing lawyers, these are law professors at academic institutions around the country. But all 600 of them are dismissed by a nonchalant wave of Steeltime's hand. According to him, none of these legal scholars have the slightest clue to what they're talking about.

But Trump is on the verge of being only the third president in history to be impeached. Of course you will never, not even for a millisecond, consider that he himself has something to do with being in this predicament. Nah, that would be way too rational.

You act like he's going to be removed from office. Not even close. There's already a Dem in the House who has publicly proclaimed he's not even going to vote on impeachment. It's going to be acquitted in the Senate easily.

And technically, only 2 Presidents have been impeached by the House only to be acquitted in the Senate. Slick Willie and Andrew Johnson. Nixon resigned before articles of impeachment were even filed.

Trump is on quite a roll of late. His soliloquy about dripping faucets and flushing toilets, to his heartfelt communication with the Saudi regime over the murders on a Naval base, to this gem from just moments ago.

If you don't think something is seriously wrong with this man's mental capacity, you oughta watch this a couple times....and try to explain to the rest of us what is it exactly he's trying to say.

<samp class="EmbedCode-container">

WATCH: Trump decries the fact that “laws allow a baby to be born from his or her mother’s womb in the 9th month,” and says “it is wrong, it has to change.” It’s unclear if Trump is calling for forced abortions or for delaying births until the 10th month.pic.twitter.com/T4YOw3QD2D
— Jon Cooper (@joncoopertweets) December 7, 2019

</samp>

My mistake Tibs, on the 3 Presidents impeached thing.

The fact is, your boy Trump is up to his neck in this impeachment case, whether you want to admit it or not. It's happening, it's real, it's true.

Here is what is real. The evidence, like the Mueller probe, is not convincing. It is also dead in the Senate, if it gets that far. The fact that Schitt is subpeoning phone records from political foes, lawyers, and media figure, shows how far down the rabbit hole this"investigation" has become. The Dems are so desperate, they have resorted to Soviet style tactics. They have put the Republic at risk.

This is a truly disgraceful episode in American history and history will not be kind to the Pelosi/Schitt crime syndicate.

Also, the legal "scholars" that Nadless brought in to support the narrative were not very impressive. I suspect the 500 legal scholars that signed that petition are even less.

On the one hand you have self-described genius, esteemed lawyer, Constitutional scholar... our very own Perry Mason.... Steeltime, and on the other, you have 500+ law professors around the nation, who evident don't know jack ****.

And on the other hand we have a Hungarian troll afflicted with TDS. I'll take the word of our own "Perry Mason" over a Hungarian troll afflicted with TDS every time.

Did they happen to be these same 500?

Of the 500 favoring impeachment..

"There is overwhelming evidence that President Trump betrayed his oath of office by seeking to use presidential power to pressure a foreign government to help him distort an American election, for his personal and political benefit, at the direct expense of national security interests as determined by Congress," the group of professors wrote.

Absurd. Yet not one of the 500 gave an example of what that "overwhelming evidence" was.

Dem articles of impeachment:

Trump won the election, and that hurt our feelings, and it still stings

lolololol

Obviously reading comprehension isn't a strength - or even a basic skill - you've developed thus far in life. It's never too late to sign up for a remedial course or take a GED test or something.

A clear case of abuse of power. A clear case of high crimes and misdemeanors. A clear case for impeachment.

Obviously reading comprehension isn't a strength - or even a basic skill - you've developed thus far in life. It's never too late to sign up for a remedial course or take a GED test or something.

First off there was no direct testimony of that, it was all conjecture and belief. Show me the direct proof. Second even if he did I don't find that to an impeachable offense in any way and you would have a hard time proving that it wasn't about rooting out corruption and was about politics. You can't do it. There was corruption and it is the Presidents job and purview to work on fighting it and I applaud him for having the guts to do it. It isn't like he secretly had a false FISA application based on paid for false information from a campaign and used that to spy on a candidate. If something like ever happened that would be a clear abuse of power..... Oh wait.

Fixed it for you.

Nary a bit of evidence have we seen

Brilliant testimony by Sowell during the disgraceful Borking. At the 2:00 mark he talks about the numbers game,
Arbitrary definitions are no less arbitrary when they are expressed in numbers rather than words.

The entire 10 minutes is brilliant, and very relevant to what is going on today. He owns Biden at the end when Biden disregards a factual answer from Sowell and asks for Sowell's opinion. Sowell doesn't quite know what to make of it. Bizarre. The left loves opinions and hates facts.
