The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

This is wildly off topic, but...

You're right Sarge, but I refuse to take meds for it. I do get roughly 5-6 hours sleep most nights, been that way for the past 20 years or so. I do take blood pressure medication, but don't want to take a pill to knock me out each night. Thank God I'm in the restaurant business, so my sleep pattern is usually 3 am - 9 am or so. Do people sleep more than six hours a night? I'm able to go a full day without feeling fatigued. I guess everyone's different.

I sleep 5-6 hours a night and wake up about 40 times. It sucks.

Sleep apnea? I had to use a cpap for about a year, before I got mine under control. I was waking up sometimes upwards of 75 times a night. Now I sleep like a baby for about 7.5 hours a night and don't have to use the machine anymore. It might be worth a look.

I too have a hard time getting to sleep, usually at least an hour after hitting the sack, even if it's 3-4 in the morning. Thankfully, once I'm finally crashed out, I can sleep for a few hours. That sucks, if you guys are dealing w waking up so many times once asleep. What I'm dealing with is mostly a lifestyle choice, moreso than a medical condition. And partially to blame is in fact my Steelers fandom. Given the time zone difference, I stay up regularly for live NFL games and have done so for decades now. That means late games start at 10:30 pm, Thurs/Sun/Mon night games is a 2:30 am start. I never miss a Steelers game, thus I'm up a lot late nights into the wee hours of the morning watching games. Add in fantasy football - I play in six leagues - my biological clock is set to late-late nights from Sept-Jan. And over the years, I just got used to being up late year round. As I type this, it's friggin' 4 am, so I gotta hit the sack. :)

That's about all I get. I was diagnosed with diabetes three years ago and I guess one of the side effects is that you don't sleep well, or at least not for long. Then about a year and a half ago I got tinnitus which makes sleeping difficult. I spend most nights on the couch because I need the TV on to drown out the ringing but Mrs. Burgundy can't sleep with the TV on. I have a script for Ambien but I don't like to take it more than twice a week, don't want to get dependent. I self-medicate with alcohol instead. :towel: When I post at 3:22 AM I really am wide awake.

You need to smoke more weed. Problem solved.

Watch less football, and more curling. And smoke some weed.

Problem solved.

That will be $150.00. Thanks, Tibs.

LOL, telling me to smoke some weed is like telling a humpback whale to spend more time in the ocean. ;) Watching curling may help though...not a bad idea.

Yeah, you're right. I'm sure that hasn't helped these past three years. Mullling over the idea that a deranged madman has taken the country hostage, I do find myself staring at the ceiling a lot. Well, hopefully that ends soon, and we can all sleep easier. Thanks for pointing that out, slipped my mind for a sec.

Bloomberg could totally blow the **** up the Dem race, if he really is running

With $50B in his pocket he could drop a Billion dollar ad campaign attacking Uncle Joe as weak , and all the media centers in NYC would be there to give him massive coverage as he rides down on his escalator, lol

Oooooh, that classic dig at my cultural heritage. Some habits are hard to break, I guess. That's always a zinger, when you attack a fellow American based on his ancestry. Makes you look like a real tough guy. LOL

LOL, "attack". You just knew that was coming!
Pipe down snowflake. It wasn't an attack, nor was the intent to make me look like a tough guy. It's called "pushing your buttons" ... for the sole purpose of evoking a reaction out of you that makes us laugh. That's all its ever been about you dingbat. Maybe you'll catch on the next time.

Here's an idea, YOU JUST WANT TO ******* ARGUE WITH TIBS, START A FORUM FOR THAT

Dragging this ******* neverending bullshit into ever ************* thread is bullshit, go jagg off in each others mouths somewhere else

I like it! The Official **** With Tibs Thread.

just announced

BLOOMBERG running for President as Dem in 2020!

Read all about it!

Literally the only potential opponent that has a chance against Trump.

I don't think so. He's just another commie climatard gun grabber.

He's the only one who can challenge him from a businessman perspective. On the other hand, he's one of those billionaires the left loves to hate.

Sounds to me like a porn addiction . :biggrin1:

I'm like you. To bed late, and no matter how late it is, takes me an hour to go to sleep. 'Over active mind' syndrome and then I do suffer some form of sleep apnea because I'm an awful snorer. I'll get 4-6 hours of uninterrupted sleep (that I'm aware of) before waking. If I'm business traveling - and dealing with that anxiety - I'm usually up every hour on the road.

There's nothing worse than needing sleep, wanting it, and not being able to.

What the man has accomplished during these three years is incredible, while being under constant attack and dealing with a do-nothing congress.

I hear Trump gets two hours of sleep, while his guests only get one.

Bloomberg will castrate Uncle Joe on the moderate side....

Leaving, my girl, she won't back down from anyone

Bloomberg ready to spend 'whatever it takes' to become president

Billionaire Michael Bloomberg would be willing to spend as much money as necessary from his $50 billion fortune to win the Democratic presidential primary and defeat President Trump.

A Bloomberg source told Axios on Friday that "Mike will spend whatever it takes to defeat Trump. The nation is about to see a very different campaign than we’ve ever seen before," the source added.

Bloomberg, 77, is not expected to take any campaign contributions if he does run. Forbes estimates he is worth $52 billion and one of the top 10 wealthiest people in the world. His wealth would dwarf Trump, who is worth an estimated $3 billion, and Democratic primary competitor Tom Steyer, who is worth $1.6 billion.

Biden is in deep ****, he won't come close in Iowa and NH, 3rd place if he's lucky

Looks like it's for reals

Bloomberg to pass on Iowa, NH, focus on Super Tuesday states

WASHINGTON (AP) — Michael Bloomberg plans to skip early voting states like Iowa and New Hampshire if he launches a presidential bid and instead focus his efforts on the crush of states that vote on Super Tuesday and beyond. It’s a strategy that acknowledges the limitations of his likely entry into the race at this late stage and the opportunities afforded by the billionaire’s vast personal wealth.

Bloomberg adviser Howard Wolfson says other candidates already have a big head start in the first four states to vote — Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina — and Bloomberg needs to be realistic about where he can make up ground.

“If we run, we are confident we can win in states voting on Super Tuesday and beyond, where we will start on an even footing.”

Bloomberg’s team has moved swiftly to carve out space for the former New York City mayor. Bloomberg himself has called prominent Democrats to alert them to his likely run, and his staff is scrambling to meet fast-approaching primary filing deadlines.

Does Bloomberg own Bloomberg press?

LOL

'Joe Biden in Danger of Humiliating Loss in Iowa'

(Bloomberg) -- Joe Biden risks a humiliating third- or fourth-place finish in Iowa early next year, according to nearly a dozen senior Democrats in the state who attribute the prospect to what they see as a poorly organized operation that has failed to engage with voters and party leaders.

With fewer than 100 days until the Feb. 3 caucuses, Biden is failing to spend the time with small groups of voters and party officials that Iowans expect and his campaign’s outreach has been largely ineffective, according to 11 senior Democrats in the state. That could send Biden to a crippling loss behind Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg, who have highly organized campaigns in Iowa, said the Democrats, most of whom requested anonymity to speak candidly about the campaign.

Bloomduesch thinks that straws and Cokes are the devil. Think he can negotiate a beneficial trade deal with China? Or defeat ISIS? Dimocraps are nuts.
