Steelers trading up rd 2

I agree, I'd rather part with Spence than Williams.
You have got to wonder if there's a player on this D that LeBeau may be coveting...and if that player would be enough for them to trade their pick. Mike Mitchell? Jarvis Jones?

Fantasy world time, trade them Jarvis, Gradkowski, Spence, Foster, Cam Thomas, Archer, our 3rd and 5th for their 2nd, Mettenberger, and Chance Warmack. Take Jalen Collins then Nate Orchard later in the second. BOOM! LOL

Hell, if they took Jarvis, Cam, and our 4th straight up, it'd be the steal of the draft!

I'd rather put Timmons on it. Would get more trade appeal, get his salary off the books too.
Lunacy...
I think I figured it out. The Steelers want Gregory and they are gonna trade Jarvis to the raiders!
Sounds crazy, but, you may be on to something...
Gregory and Dupree???
I honestly think the "smoke screen" is the verbiage about trading up for a DB. Rowe and the Collins boys are the only 1st rounders who fit the bill; but, we all KNOW that Gregory is the best pass rusher in the class and, IMO, Buddy, Shaz, Timmons & Gregory - fastest LB corp ever!!!!!!

But, we shall see in 30 minutes or so...

go get Randy Gregory and forget about the red flags if you want BPA
Gregory may be a head case extraordinaire...not sure what his issues are, but they've kept a top 5-10 player from being drafted. You want to open that can of worms, go ahead. I'll take Diggy and his hips, which have completely checked out with doc's, MRI et al and he finished a full season no prob post surgery.

We're not taking another OLB pass rusher today. Maybe a guy like Max Valles in round 6 or one of the small school guys that visited.

That's my sense too, unless the Steelers do something crazy and move Jarvis...

They got their "Bud" in round one - great character and great athlete; can you IMAGINE the pressure schemes we could run IF we added Gregory in the mix??? Tom Brady will have to invest in Depends if we add Gregory...

Of course I'd be on with it, because if they somehow got Gregory, you would have to have confidence the FO did their homework on him and will be able to deal with whatever his issues are. So I'm not opposed to it entirely, but I would still prefer Diggy. Sadly, I think this whole discussion is several steps removed from reality...

Winner chicken dinner and skip the Gregory cat and his under weight size issue. The only way he passes the eye test is if he is standing next to archer. If I am thinking of the right guy here he was abused by Wisconsin and will likely get pushed around in the nfl badly. He also has very low sparq scores compared to Owa and Clark with Clark likely being available late in the draft. If we end up getting Owa at this point we might be looking at the next set of linebackers that can rival the numbers put up by Woodley and Harrison during their good years. That would be worth not taking a corner back till next years first or second round.

Giants on the clock

Uh what about when we had great defenses?

The guy has 28 sacks and 9 interceptions during his career. Inside linebackers in a 34 aren't the meat. Its the OLB that are supposed to get the high sack numbers. Timmons has had over 100 tackles the last three years.

And not missed games, even when had to leave the field vomiting. And played both Mack and Buck during the year.
