Well, lets see, 280yrds rushing, 460yrds receiving, 375 punt returning, 560 kick off returning, 8 TDs. settled?

Salute the nation

Again all in your mind!! who's to say that Revis or another great CB wants to come back home and told the GM I'll be there next year! Let me ply out my current contract. Again it's in your mind you have no clue what the future holds the Front Office obviously didn't feel we needed a CB! you do because you don't know the future. Tape take a chill pill you cannot predict the future.

What were we in total yards in pass d 2011 how about 2012 does ints determine wins and losses?

Does the fastest ILB (since Brian urlacker) not increase the pass rush thus forcing the QB to throw it sooner?

CB's are great but unless you get pressure to the QB WR's will find away to get open! Your still thinking foote and Hope are there!
It's been replaced by Mitchell (helps the cbs in zone/blitz coverage) and Shanizer by far faster and more likely to force turnovers.

This is not 2013 or 2012 or 2011 old and slow are gone.
Dwell in the past if you must I'm looking forward to fast and hard like rabbits *******!!!

I like how you dismiss gay by the way

I didn't dismiss Gay. I listed him and right now he's the only CB aside from any rookies who is under contract past this season. Gay is a decent depth guy but if he's your top CB, you're in trouble.

If you think the CBs are good then there's nothing else i can say. I disagree.

All things considered and just from being around here a long time, I would venture a guess that TMC spends damn near as much time researching and doing homework as NFL scouts do. And considering that, he still doesn't attempt to act like he has been 100% correct on every projection he has ever made. That right there along with the work he puts in, is why he has a lot of credibility IMO. He doesn't feel the need to puff himself up and pretend he's infallible.

right. and when he points things out about a player, he's trying to get you to see things from his point of view and is not a condescending ******* like one particular ************* idiot around here.

I don't put much stock in rookie camp reports:

I also don't understand why people think he is going to stay healthy in the NFL when his own college coach wouldn't play him at PR because he didn't want him hurt. Then this little jewel:

Given his size, there were natural concerns about what role he could serve on offense while still protecting him from unnecessary injury.

Obviously they don't read this board enough. They should know that size doesn't matter when it comes to injuries. Everything is equal in the NFL.

Rainey drew rave reviews. Super fast.. a new element to the offense.. worked on returns throughout camp.. Ben's excited about the dazzling new wrinkle he provides.. several touches a game.. etc.

Neither does injury history. Often-injured college players usually find the NFL much more light and easy-going.

Sorry guys not posting these to pimp his skills or lack there of. Just posting. No motive either way. We've discussed this every which way. Just posting the articles here instead of making a new thread.

you dumbass. we don't need that ****.

Dont know what i was thinking.

There are roughly 800 rookie minicamp report threads already. You could have posted these near-identical articles in those, but you chose this thread. Sorry you were responded to.

So now any article that is posted on him is meant to be pimping him? And really 800? Do you do anything without being over the top?

Nobody said that. But you're bitching about Archer-bashing this entire thread, now posting Archer articles in here instead of elsewhere, so it certainly seems you're continuing your shitfit.

Why are you so pussyhurt when someone gives an obvious, plain-as-day exaggeration? When someone says something like, "Ben has thrown a million TDs today!" they don't literally mean he has thrown one million TDs. When they say "Archer is a shrimp" they don't literally mean he's a crustacean. Sorry to be so condescending, but most people don't need that explained to them.

so why be such a dick about it? had he posted this in a separate thread, you'd whine that we already have a thread about Raincher
that's the primary problem people have with you. You're a condescending, arrogant and egotistical ********.

yes, I know. posting after you. stalking. creepy. weird.
**** you.

Ive posted numerous articles on draft picks in different threads that pertain to them. Instead of flooding the forum with a million new threads.. pussyhurt cause your a douchbag I doubt it. Just asking why you go over the top all the time. I posted articles about shazier and Howard Jones in their threads. Not pimping just posting. Of course an Idiot wouldnt know the difference. Everything doesnt have to be an arguement. Just like everything doesnt have to be over the top and exaggerated like a *****.

Then don't throw a fit when someone responds to them. We didn't know they were sacred, standalone posts, not to be replied to. We thought you were presenting them for discussion. My apologies.

And I didn't mean "throw" a fit as in "projectile it forward with your hand." Sorry for the over-the-top exaggeration there; didn't mean to mess you up. ****; I don't mean "mess" as in "unkempt and dirty." It's just an expression.

Yep i threw a fit. Lol.

You didnt catch feelings til you saw me and Supe going back and forth. And just like a ***** couldnt let the guys have fun.

I'm just glad someone finally had the balls to name those "other" picks right now, instead of waiting 2-3 years to start rattling off a list of guys we should have taken instead. I have them saved to a nice google doc, in the event we have a board rebuild, we'll still have that list to refer to in say, 2016-17 or so. Should be interesting to see how it all works out. Hindsight is a funny thing.

Interesting to see thoughts and highlights of Archer since he ran the 2nd fastest time at the combine at 4.26 in the 40.

In case any of you forgot what started this whole mess, why not take a trip 43 pages back to the first post...

I sure hope they all pan out. I'll be ever so embarrassed if they don't!!

I don't see why they wouldn't, given your tone in the beginning of the discussion, prognosticating without ANY doubt we would be lamenting this moment. I would think if you miss on even one, you'd be considered a raging fuckup, I mean hell, if Colbert and Tomlin hit on EVERY person BUT Archer, they are going to get the **** reamed out of them here, so all the way though the final round they are expected to be perfect, I don't see why when we give you 10 chances at round ******* 3, you can't be 100% right. Do you?

Joe

I'll give you a real life example, back in 1999, a bunch of dickwads were running around convincing everyone that **** was going to go batshit crazy at midnight new years eve, because of y2k. I was in the computer industry, and watched these hacks running everywhere spreading all this bullshit. Then the new year came, and even though I'd been telling people there would be a very minimal impact, and most systems were ready, there was still total ******* hysteria. Then y2k happened, and all the prognosticators of the apocalypse vanished. I took to a few sites to try to call them out on their bullshit, and was met with a resounding "Oh, how could they have known? People are only human after all, stop being so mean". Uh, what the ****?

THIS is the problem, people in general will go on and ******* on about how they just know this or that for a fact, blah blah blah, then when it doesn't happen this or that way, it's an "Oops, sorry, everyone makes mistakes" The problem is, while you're going on and on, people ARE in fact remembering what you're going on about, and occasionally they come back and say "Hey, remember when you just kept saying that thing again and again, and now how you're wrong about it" The standard reply is 'OH my GOD? That was FOREVER ago, I mean really MOVE ON ALREADY". My response is, if you don't want people tossing your old **** back at you because you don't like the smell, the keep it to yourself next ******* time.
