Steelers Panthers preseason game thread

Some more difficult decisions for the final cuts..............
 
Matatavich would be great if football was played for 5-6 quarters and not four. Couple of hours into a football game the other players would slow down from exhaustion, and he'd be out there making drag-down tackles 4-5 yards downfield. He'd get to his man every time and make textbook tackles. Or if all games were played in the rain, in the mud. I'd start him in the middle without hesitation. He's a sure tackler as long as no one's running around too fast.
 
Graham Gano has a leg on him.
 
Wouldn't you Gano he made that long field goal.
 
The fact Finney's out there in the 2nd half tells me they think Ramon Foster is fit as a whistle.
 
Ruh roh another stupid penalty he is in Danger- of leaving the- Field come final cuts.
 
Looks like we have four QB's and two P's....Nice kick by Matt Wile.
 
Decent tackling out there by 4th string D. Maybe Butler's getting the message across. More than anything, that's what we need to see from this D, solid tackling. Would be a nice change of pace from last year.

I think Hooks made case for the PS again. And Allen probably sticks...
 
I'll put it like this: The Steelers need to move on BR's backup (Jones) and let the two younger guys vie for the job, and maybe to be his eventual replacement.

No way the Steelers consider Jones to be a viable replacement. For maybe that reason alone, they need to deal him.
 
This DL Scales dude is playing his *** off tonight, good tape for him.
