And I hear Butt was hurt - a lot like some of the Steeler fans were when they didn't get the player they have seen a few highlights of ...

Smoke and mirrors by Colbert by pushing the Green story when in reality he had no interest in drafting a TE and it worked. Browns took the bait, jumped ahead and grabbed a TE which allowed a quality pass rusher to land in our lap.
I guess we'll find out 2 ways about Green. If they take a TE today, he is gone. If he doesn't show up to OTA's in a couple weeks ready to "practice" and cleared from the concussion protocol, he is done.
Green will be given every chance to succeed even if it means missing camp and going on the 8 week IR again. Just watch.
And there's no reason to believe he won't keep getting better and better. This will be a big year for him, his third, to start making a name for himself.James more then held his own last year

Just saw on Steelers.com that one of the pics had Green participating in team activities. If he were still in concussion protocol, I didn't think that was allowed. So, hopefully, this is a good sign.
Well duh. The alternative of just cutting the guy right now doesn't get you anything anyhow.
I don't know, he looks kind of dazed to me.Indeed. I hope he's ready to go. I also hope the Steelers not drafting a TE is an indication that they feel the same way. Green and James are a fine duo, we can roll with that.

While I agree that if a hit like that concussed him, I don't like his future, the 247 article I read sounded like they expect him back. (Sorry I can't link). It was dated late March. That along with no take on a draft pick, I'm thinking Bouchette's source is inaccurate.
