Steelers in round two pick WR JuJu Smith-Schuster

Let me also continue this, the Steelers drafted Watt, had connections to Chryst, his new coach. Does anyone know the athletic director at USC? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Lynn Swann. I'm sure they are getting solid intel on these kids.

I for one have no problem with Bryant's tweet. Nothing like some competition. There are jobs on the line. You want one you better show up and ball out.

yeah, somebody will be losing their job though

it's a cutthroat business

Tomlin shut that **** down quick, the tweet was removed immediately

maybe Bryant starts off in the doghouse?

So, you think we scored enough points in the playoffs?

I think we GAVE UP too many points ( 36 ), and played a soft zone defense that Brady always destroys.

You can not expect to give up 36 and win, and make no mistake if needed New England could have scored more.

# our coaches have s&^tforbrians

Pass rushers and DB's need to be upgraded to beat Brady.

I did not ask about the defense. Do you think the offense scored enough points in the playoffs? OFFENSE. Not defense. OFFENSE.

They could draft the highest ranked edge rusher, and corner available every round, but if the DC doesn't find a way to get Brady on his back they would still light any defense up and score. Denver gives them trouble because they do just that.

Rumor has it the Steelers had a first round grade on Ju Ju.

Because the defense was so bad, the offense had to play from behind and had two turnovers. But ask anyone here who would have impacted the game more, a corner who can actually cover in the slot or a #2 or #3 type of WR.

No, the offense did not score enough points, but even if they were 3-3 in the red zone, as opposed to 1 for 3, we still LOSE this game.

The D gave up 36 points, 431 yards, and collected ZERO turnovers. Come on TMC, how many games like that have the Steelers won under Tomlin's tenure??? Ya want to count, I bet it's on one hand.

If true, they might have wanted to trade up for him. A 1st round grade picked 62nd overall?

I tend to think if Melifonwu or Awuzie was on the board, one of those two are Steelers.

Coats, Hamilton and Rogers all dropped or fumbled balls at key times in the AFCC title game. Roethlisberger vaguely referred to the "young guys" after the game, but we know who he was talking about.

Burns and Davis were probably among them as well, as they looked like 6-year-olds trying to find their mommy at the mall in that game,

Last time we got a receiver out of USC it seemed to work out pretty well.

Probably but they weren't there so they stayed true to their board

Yet the Steeler D ranked higher than most of last years playoff teams including Dallas, Atlanta, Green Bay, Oakland, KC, Mia.

They were the 12th ranked D. Thats not terrible, but I'd like to see a Steeler D in the top 5. That has where the Steeler D has traditionally been.

Houston had the #1 D and couldn't beat the Pats.
Something about NE. Whenever they play us those ******* seem flawless.

Some might say we were fortunate to even be in that game against New England because we neede 6 fields goals to beat the Chiefs.

I hate to break this to you skippy, but the score was 17-9 at the half. The first series in the 2nd was a 3 and out. New England kicks a FG, still only 20-9. Steelers drive to the NE 39 and stall. They punt, NE drives for a TD. Rogers fumbles. NE scores again. Turnover on downs at the NE 2. Defense holds, punt. Ben throws a pick. The INT came in the 4th, not the 1st/2nd/3rd.

They had PLENTY of opportunities to score and failed. To not acknowledge that part of the game is idiotic at best. If they can convert a couple more 3rd downs, maybe get another FD at the NE 39 and get a FG, score from the 2, that is 10 points in the Steelers favor, maybe the defense has rested more, maybe play with better intensity/motivation and limit a NE score. So, instead of 27-9, maybe it is 20-19 heading into the 4th quarter.

Again, you fail to recognize how games can change on specific plays. It makes me wonder if you ever played a sport.

Without Bell and with NE able to concentrate on Brown our offense was really limited. Maybe with a few more people who can catch the ball we can avoid that.

Couple of points, both Martavis related, really.

I think Martavis' tweet is poking fun at when Coates was drafted people said he was Bryant's replacement. So I'll wager its that, which is more inside joke that the twittersphere is over analyzing.

The Daves on the terrible podcast made a good point about how Bryant is most likely gone in two years no matter what. Sooner if he slips up again. He's under contract for two more years. If he has a mediocre couple of seasons, he won't be resigned. If he plays lights out both years he will get paid elsewhere. JuJu is the future.

Bryant tweets showed what he is, he has learned nothing out of football. Coates has shown nothing so would anyone be surprised neither will be here opening day. Bryant contract is longer but he is carrying a lot of baggage. Tomlin finally stood up and got all over Bryant for this tweet crap,

Ravens board meltdowns! - they prayed for JuJu

Feel the love - hahahahaha

I'm not going to say the names of the players I think we'll take. They been coming off the board every time a player is mentioned.

too late

I hate Pittsburgh.

Oh boy..................

Oh no!!!!!!

Commence freakout #794

No, no, no, no , no , no, no NONONONO

And the boards are about to explode

HOLY KRAPP @ Steelers pick.

I swear they only took him to be sure we didn't

Steelers don't neglect their offense

ANOTHER board......

**** the STOOLERS **** EM HARD

I heard ju ju to the steelers...ugh.

lol brace yourselves...

Hahaha wow that ******* sucks.

I swear we are the only ******* team in this division that has not done a ******* thing this entire offseason to help it's offense. This is a ******* joke, Steelers get a hell of a WR, Bengals get 2 terrific offensive guys we just drafted guys who may not even play much this year.

Heartbreaker. JuJu's the enemy now.

Oh **** you, Steelers.

**** this **** man, these coaches better pray to the lord above they make the playoffs, cause this offense is going to be frustrating as hell again. **** man. Steelers and Bengals continue to add to explosive offenses. We haven't done jack **** while losing linemen.

Well that's a kick in the nuts

Your AFCN champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

I took it as a guy ready and motivated to come back and take his job. But that's just me.

Am i the only one who could care less about Bryants tweet? Like it or not he remains the most physically gifted Steeler wr.... and it isnt close...
Juju could be ward and bouldin rolled into one and still wouldn't stretch defenses like Bryant... it is what it is... hopefully the archacic weed ban is gone before too long and he gets resigned... the guy has moss like abilities if he is allowed on the field.
