Ok I have to ask. Why would some of you actually think that the Seahawks would give up anything for one Shamarko Thomas? The same Shamarko Thomas that has done what exactly for this team in three seasons? Come on man, be smart here. The Seahawks do know how to recognize and develop talent and they ain't giving up anything for this guy.
1. Who is "some of you" when only I even considered the idea. 2. The Seahawks have 4 mil in cap space. They're either going to have to sign a similar bum to Sharmarko or go with whoever they have now (which won't be Chancellor if you been paying attention). Its not that far fetched it they can be swayed with a draft pick.

Pretty cool photo gallery on the Steelers site of our 53 man roster. Congrats to all the rooks that made the team and also newbies like Boykin, DWill, Cockrell, Vick, Scobee and Berry. Who thought we'd start the season with a new kicker and punter and Mike Vick as our backup QB? More than anything, congrats and mucho respect to Alejandro Villaneuva for making the squad. Hard work pays off!

Pretty surprised James made the roster a little confused about two full backs and one functional tailback on the roster for the first two weeks. I guess one of them would move to tailback if Williams was injured. Archer stays. Really no surprise but a total indictment of this coaching staff's ability to distinguish talent on its roster.
Archer is still on the team so there is less egg on their face because they signed another reach and failed splash play experiment. They will let him play out his rook contract. I'm sure the square peg in the round hole will see the field a handful of times to make or break their decision. There are a few others that should be on that short leash, as well.

I didn't want to call only you out on this so that's why I referred "some of you".
Why would you even consider something such is that? It makes no sense for the Seahawks to trade for a guy that has shown nothing and especially for a team like the Steelers who are dying for secondary help, why would we trade him if he was worth a ****? We wouldn't. If he was any good we wouldn't be trading him to begin with. We need all the quality help we can get in the secondary and if he was any good, we wouldn't be wanting to trade him. No, we're unfortunately stuck with him and we put all our hopes in him being the replacement for Troy and he hasn't worked out. Again, why would you think the Seahawks would trade for a guy that has shown nothing? Cam Chancellor I wouldn't be surprised to see him re-signed soon enough by the Seahawks who most likely already have a plan in place and it's not Shamarko ******* Thomas.

There must be someone (a lot actually) out there better than Hubbard, also we need another RB cause I guess they are using will Johnson as a TE/FB.
Golden, ventrone, DHB all made it because their special teams value. I think it also helped DHB that a vet was needed after the Bryant fiasco.
Still hoping a proven starter is brought to help at safety, we have the cap room and I don't mind losing a 3rd rounder for a blue chipper

Wes Johnson was cut from the Jets. He wasn't dominant but more of finesse blocker but still better than Hubbard.

Oh I can see it now. Steelers trade the infamous Shamarko Thomas and a couple draft picks for Kam Chancellor. The same Shamarko Thomas who flat out has done nothing in three years. Oh and lets not forget a couple draft picks too of which we've already spent our 6'th and most likely our 4'th for a kicker and a CB on the last years of their contracts. That will leave us with what, 3 or 4 picks next year. Come on Tibs. You know that's not going to happen. The Giants may pull off that trade but not happening here.

Relax, I'm just pointing out Chancellor's name popped up in trade discussions. I find it shocking the Seahawks would consider moving him, that's all.
Glad they kept Chickillo. Ten is a lot but they can't cut Jones because that would be admitting he is a bust.
I think it's more that they won't cut Jones because Deebo isn't physically able to play a whole season as the starter and neither Dupree or Chickillo are ready to start. Give it time ....
But the point is the Seahawks won't get even value for Chancellor anyways. The Giants probably will get him, and you know what they'll give up? Probably a 2016 2nd rounder and a 2017 3rd. The Seahawks can't ask for much being only 4 mil under the cap. Its either they trade him or he holds out the year and they play his backup. All I'm saying is we can match something similar. A 2nd rounder and Shamarko. Next year we'd probably go safety round 1 or 2, if I was Steelers management I'd jump at the chance of getting a young proven safety already at the position for the draft pick.

I am willing to bet a lot of fans would like them to trade for him. We just think the Steelers won't take that aggressive approach. (Might want to add a different player than Sham though)
I think the Steelers will go for a SS next year high in the draft, but yeah Chance would be a solid pickup and perhaps a bold move close to the trade for Bettis or the trade up for Troy.
For some reason the club is hell bent on Sham proving them wrong.
And I don't see them changing their stance.
