Round 3 Pick Diontae Johnson

Wtf chase vinowich was there Hakeem butler did we need another midget we already have 2 in James and Switzer

I'm a UT Alum and I'd like to say I've been able to get back and see them play recently ... but, that would be a lie. So, as a tOSU Alum too, I'm wondering why not McLaurin. Or Boykin. Or Butler.... or holy hell, Chase? Oh well, when it comes to WRs, I'm not going to question them. but, I am puzzled.

Early round 3 pick for undersized not so fast good route runner?!?

Dont we have several of those on the roster and on our practice squad?

Seems like a huge reach to me...

I'm thinking they like what they have on the outside and felt this guy was an instant inside guy that could grow into a two.

Round 2 Pick Diontae Johnson

The ****** part of this is that he would probably be there in the 5th or 6th round and we could have taken Winovich there or a bigger receiver or CB. This seems like James Washington II...

Can't question the Steeler's when it comes to receiver, but can't wait to hear Colbert presser on why they jumped on him so early.

Hard to imagine he wouldn't have been available at the next pick...real missed opportunity to improve D with Gardner-Johnson, Julian Love or Winovich. Well, that ruined the Bush-high I had been riding...

WR coach Darryl Drake on Diontae Johnson. Says he "fell in love" with him after meeting and dining with him at his Pro Day. Speaks highly of his character and versatility.

Reminds me of when they panicked and picked Burns. Run on receivers started happening and they jumped the gun.

His scouting report and physical traits read almost identical to Antonio Brown's, but Brown was an exception, as WRs with that size/speed ratio typically do not make much of an impact in the NFL.

The Steelers have earned the benefit of the doubt regarding WRs, but this is a questionable pick.

I don't think they are really looking for olb, when they gave Chikillo 4 million he is the man.

This kid is the son of Pepper Johnson former Giants LB'er. I like the pick but I'm a little surprised....hopefully Winovich is still there at pick 83.

id like this pick if it was a 4th or 5th or 6th but 3rd nope sorry can't swallow it 5-10 180 4.5 4-10 toledo nope

Darryl Drake says he "knows for a fact" Tampa Bay was going to select Diontae Johnson if the Steelers didn't take him at 66. #Steelers
