There has never been a forfeit in the history of the league I doubt they start now.
I don’t know where this talk of forfeits comes from. Is that the kind of win we want/need?
As much as I hate this, it’s the right decision. If we’d played today as scheduled, we risk infecting Steeler players, which could affect their availability going forward. The same applies on Sunday, if Ravens continue to test, it would be irresponsible to let the game go forward.
There’s a difference between postponing the game because the Ravens can’t field a team, and postponing it because there is a risk of contaminating additional players.
This sucks, but so does the pandemic. No one ever said life was fair.
And you guys wanna line up on the same field with an infected team?
Ravens discipline coach for not reporting symptoms, consistently wearing mask and tracker

The Baltimore Ravens might be able to point the finger at one man for all their COVID-19 troubles this week. After the Ravens put three more players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday and saw their Week 12 game get postponed until Sunday, Baltimore announced they had disciplined a coach for conduct related to the cases.
As it turns out, Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the culprit was a strength and conditioning coach who failed to report his symptoms and wasn’t consistently wearing a mask or tracking device.
That would be about as egregious a failure to follow the NFL’s protocols as the league has seen this season, and it’s an issue that the NFL could look to discipline Baltimore over. Pelissero noted that by proactively disciplining the coach, the Ravens could either reduce or avoid potential punishment from the NFL over the matter. For breaking protocols earlier this season, the Tennessee Titans were fined $350,000 but did not have to forfeit any draft picks, per Erik Bacharach of the Tennessean.
Baltimore has placed a total of nine players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list this year. Several staff members also have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Whatever happens, the Ravens must be held accountable and I don't mean a simple 6 figure fine. Taking action against the strength and conditioning coach means nothing, he is one person on every team's staff that is most likely to consistently come in direct contact with every player. Organizations know this and it's the head of the team's responsibility to ensure protocols are followed. The buck stops at the top.
Steelers should get some games flexed for losing a prime time game. The Colts/Pit game is the best option at this point.
If all of these players that have tested positive had been injured in practice or in game situations the Ravens would be replacing them with the practice squad or signing free agents.
ravens should be fined min 100K titand should of been if they were not.
Reading this drunk is difficult.thry only have gus edwards and lamar to run we force lamar to be apocket qb we win and campbell is out helps us run and for the love of GOd use the I set with Watt
At the moment it appears that the only consequence the Ravens face is making the playoffs as the last seed.
Total BS to move the game to week 18, if they don't play Sunday, forfeit. Do your damn job Roger.
The Raiders, Titans, and Steelers got the book thrown at them. After which the league sent a letter...nay....a stern letter to teams saying failure to follow protocols would result in punishment..nay...severe punishment. The NFL has not choice but throw a bigger book at Baltimore than they did the Raiders (who were hit worst of all).
then again, it stops at the top and the top is an *******. (hell, me typing that proly just got James H another drug test letter).
