Doesn't it also reward the other playoff teams that don't have to play that week. they would be getting a bye, while the Steelers/Ravens are the only game that week. how is that fair.

Absolutely. Granted if the Steelers take care of business and clinch the top seed they can play their B squad.

Next step should be to play this game on Monday or Tuesday (if it can’t be played on Sunday). Their Thursday game should be moved to week 18.

In fact, if this game can’t be played on Sunday, they could move it to Monday or Tuesday. Then move the Ravens Thursday game against the Cowboys to Sunday 12/6. Crisis averted. And the Ravens don’t benefit from their own negligence.

If they can't man a team due to their own apparent negligence (even Lamar had his mask around his neck and not on his face), then they forfeit, period. The Steelers and the rest of the league shouldn't have to suffer.
