Make your case. Fields or Wilson. ONLY!!! No other qb's can be included. Who would you bring back and why.

What are those options right now tho?
Free agency isn’t here yet. So none. But doesn’t mean they have to premature a decision.

Well the earth is round

I think it’s straight lined………. When I look to the horizon all I see is a straight line horizontally.

When I look at Dolly Parton, I see mountains.

Neither scenario proves the earth is round………………. I’ll try my Binoculars, but in Dolly’s case I’ll have to look through them backwards.

What is dollys favorite candy bar?

Mounds. Brought to you all the way from the 70s

Right now, Fields is generating by far the favorite. This “cycle” may very well cause a drastic over pay for him. I can see either New Jersey team climbing the cash mountain.

Kahn needs to follow his predecessors in that put together what Steelers think is a good fair offer, no low balling just a fair shake honest answer. This needs to happen like right now and see if they can get the autographed contract in hand.

If that fails then let him go out and establish market value………… then decide where to go from there.

Keep in mind that Justin can choose his destination, but from all insider reports, he is comfortable within the Steelers organization. I think he would come back to the table and say “hey, this is where we are at, what can you do”?

My only fear is $$$BIG$$$ can change the outlook of the young man’s vision.

Yeah, let's start with this weak *** room. Wilson was successful for a short period until he or defenses remembered his game, along with a weakly coached offensive line...everything came tumbling down. I was ok with that honestly, I never really thought we were going all of the way last year with Russ...
Fields is not my kind of QB...and the Steelers would be fools to think we can just run him out there and not completely change our offense. I would never double cover anyone with him at QB, just contain him, keep him in the pocket and from running...which seems to be the the what the very very short list of offensive plays that is run with him in there. I don't know the number we need, but we need WR's ( at least a proven slot receiver, and a legitimate deep threat), not the d league WR we have been running with GP. I think if Fields is ever going to be successful, he needs to be in a run and gun offense, ...not run option.....we and every damn defense in the NFL know what option he prefers. He literally has to see a receiver open to think that it is a decent option over him running the ball.

I think it was pro football talk that did a break down on QBs with 250 passes or more to have the “clean” pocket. This is not about the OL, that was not included in the excise.

Russ was the lowest with 51% clean pocket. The best was 59% clean pocket. That may not seem like a wide spread, but it actually is.

Russ can no longer flea the pocket and make things happen, he has proven that. He also has a weak arm as if you haven’t noticed, a lot of his “Moon” balls are just that, a heave and a prayer.

There is no way the Steelers pursue the Russ. That whole notion is media driven and false to boot.

Justin is their first choice, draft is second. If they draft, they are not drafting for a deep project but as a potential starter.
