Landry Jones to Start on Sunday

I guess I’m in the minority too, but I wouldn’t bench the starters as long as we still have a chance at the #1 seed. That makes zero sense in my universe. They would be playing until it’s clear the #1 seed has been determined. The only sure win for New England is when they are playing us, in which case it would make sense to bench the starters and save them for the next time we aren’t playing New England.

Basically conceding the number one seed is just stupid.

As long as there's a chance, you have to at least go for it.

If the Patriots build a big lead, the Steelers should then and only then pull their best players.

Many fans here who are currently OK with this will probably be singing a different tune by Sunday evening if both the Steelers and Patriots were to lose.

This Browns 0-16 season (hopefully) will have been preceded by a perfect 4-0 preseason...Likewise, the 0-16 Lions also had a perfect 4-0 pre-season.

Like the Browns, Detroit also has never played in a lwoB repuS..

...and like the Lions, the Browns 16th loss will have come at the hands of a divisional opponent. (hopefully)

There is no wrong answer to this..if they played i can understand it.. if they dont i can understand it. Especially considering how much injuries have played a factor in our last three postseasons..

Also dont discount this the Steelers may have decided you know what we can beat that team..we are a better team. As long as we are healthy we dont care where we play them.

Or it could be reverse psychology on the part of Tomlin, throwing the gauntlet down at the Jets and giving them bulletin board material.
Nah, nevermind, Tomlin ain't that smart.

Actually the Browns D is pretty good. It's just their O that stinks. A lot of their losses were close...like our first game with them.

Might as well sit them. At least Ben. Game is in Pittsburgh so it's not like he can extend his streak as the winningest QB in the history of Cleveland's new stadium.

I would honestly rather start Dobbs. We already know Landry is going to stink the place up, so let's she if Dobbs has progressed any.

Landry won last year against the clowns, why **** with what works. Go get em Landry!

Also if the Browns win it will be the first time since 2014 that they've beaten a team with a winning record...

For all you’s against sitting these guys...,,If they played and got hurt, you’s id be the same ones bitchin about Tomlin leaving them in the game to get hurt....

So easy to criticize from the safety of a Football Gorum, but these are tough decisions

Smart move to sit em....

Laundry is either pretty good or really bad. There is no middle ground.

Beating the Brahns really only matters if the Jets beat the Pats*****. Our second string will most likely beat the Brahns anyhow and there is no way the Jets are beating the Pats*****.

If you can't beat the clowns, you don't need to be or backup QB. Landry I am talking to you ************.
