Per ESPN and Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns have announced that they apparently will sever ties with JM at the start of the new League year in early March.

They have to wait until then to avoid the salary cap hit.
 
Manziel's new number is 86'd.
 
Jerruh has him on speed dial.
 
Not that it doesn't get said often, but, man, what a clusterfuck of an organization.
 
Lots of buzz that Wentz is in play for the #2 pick. I've seen nothing of the kid since he played FCS in North Dakota but apparently he had a stellar senior bowl.
 
Manziel is another complete bust. He won't play again in the NFL and will end up dead or in prison by the time he is 35.

he'll back up Romo next year, then start for them the following season.
Manziel and Dez. Oh, how ******* lovely that will be.
 
Just another example to support not paying rookies that have not played a down in the NFL these big contracts. A lot of cash down the drain.
 
What'd they expect when the drafted him? Manziel should have stayed in college and lived it up with out the scrutiny for one more year before entering the NFL. Not only does he leave early, but then he gets drafted by the Browns. Wish they'd keep him another year or two.

He played at North Dakota State. They have a bit of a dynasty going, will be interesting to see if he can take it to the next level.

I wouldn't want all that baggage but it wouldn't surprise me if he was decent if he got his head on straight. He has some skills. His QBR suggests he was about an average QB last year.
