I wouldn't hold my breath about Johnny Football coming here but if it ever were to happen after Ben retires it would be the Greatest ***** Slap ever if Johnny Football were to lead us to another Lombardi. I really think the whole city of Cleveland might actually commit suicide if that were to happen. Oh well at least one can dream!
 
I think its more of an example of never being held accountable by anyone for anything he ever did. Because, he was a good athlete, in all likelihood, from the time he was 12 or even younger when he made mistakes there probably weren't any real ramifications and, it continued through high school, college and finally as a young adult he was being held accountable and had no idea how to react. If you never hold someone accountable, what do you expect?

Another wasted 1st rd pick for the Browns..and they took no QB last year to develop when there were some good QB's to be had.

I'll laugh if they take a QB #1 this year.

They'll take Goff or Lynch and many analysts are mocking Goff to them. IMO, these two quarterbacks aren't 1st or 2nd round quality, but they'll both be gone by the end of the 1st round.

Since they have a Baseball guy running things they'll likely try to take a High School pitcher in the first round.

Radio reported today that Dri was signed to a reserves futures contract by the Jets.
 
I can't imagine that any Steelers fan is happy with this news. I, for one, was hoping Manziel would hang around. Helps us out a bunch.

Tebow didnt' suck. He just wasn't a QB. He might have been a fine TE or FB option.

Some folks just get themselves focused too sharply on the wrong things.

Such a tragedy. He would have likely been one of the most loved Steelers - up there with Hines Ward if only he'd stayed "Slash".

Hindsight is a cruel mistress.

Yeah, he should have been a TE/FB and a wildcat QB as well as playing the protector on punts and the holder. Maybe he didn't want to do all of that, but a good coach would have maximized his value and put him in positions to win on the field.
 
Its always best to see if the story that is circulating is true or now, but if 10% of it is true he is utterly done as an NFL player unless Jerrah tries to give him achance... Dallas/Texas people seem to be giving him a free pass so its not that outrageous.... let him ruin Dallas for a few more years... they like a good soap opera
