Seems like. I think Peezy needs to lay low in the social scene for a bit. I think the Steelers give him a 2nd chance

I'm with you if I was on the team I would go on a social media campaign to let everyone know what this bars doorman attitude is. Not getting my business ever again

Porter is on leave from the team. As of today he will not travel to KC.

Administrative leave until it can be sorted out. Get someone else to run the linebackers through their paces at practice. doubt if he does much in game adjustments anyhow. Butler was linebackers coach before and can assume that on game day.

A guy gets into a tussle with a bouncer at a bar. Happens every day. No big deal except for the fact it's Joey Porter.
 
And someone gets busted with a hooker every day, but if it is a cop, a teacher or a judge. Tad different.
 
I don't doubt that the doorman (and/or off duty cop) was a complete dick, but Porter should absolutely not be belligerently drunk and trying to get inside some shithole bar on the South Side. He's too damn old for that and it's very unbecoming for a coach of the Steelers.

Fixed it for ya!

One good thing about not having JP is we actually have 2 LB coaches. JP coaches the OLBs and Olsavsky coaches the ILBs. Now Olsavsky will just coach the LBs.
 
Please he at best got in a confrontation while drunk... nfl coaches have done far worse with no consequences... joe cullen iscoaching for Baltimore right now and his drunken escapades were far worse
