Hey Coach, read the article. Not the quote.
I have no problem with in game decisions, as I ran a spreadsheet, he is the most effective at getting us chances to score at the end of halves and games.
My problem with Tomlin is personnel decisions. Leaving Mitchell on the field, when Wilcox, in one game, was better than Mitchell all season. Not utilizing Harrison as a situational pass rusher, after showing he was capable and instrumental in sealing the KC victory. I also have problems with game planning and inablility to adjust in game or at half time, but injuries will hamstring that option once Shazier was no longer a factor, so I'm not going to kill him on that respect.
In contrast, Giving JuJu and Watt starting time early and expanding their roles as the season progressed were good personnel decision. As was Hilton's quick ascension from the PS to starting slot corner. So there are goods there as well.
No coach is perfect, but I would never view how he treats players, coaches, fans, media, personnel as a negative. Dude is a solid human being.
