I would take BEN ROETHLISBERGER over Mathew Stafford any day of the week. PRETTY ******* simple. I'm glad we signed EBRON to a very friendly back up TE contract that is cap friendly should he NOT pan out.
I could care less what you think of stafford vs BEN because stafford isn't my beloved STEELERS starting QB. EBRON has the makings to be a definite up-grade over Vannett. Again pretty simple answer.

Adding playoffs and SB conversation isn't changing the subject that is all a part of playing QB. You are judged on your regular season and post season success or failures.
Again we can go around and around. He is a good fantasy league QB but that is all I am giving him. He hasn't even won one division title, one.
You are banking way too much on regular season stats instead of the stats that matter.

I think near the same but hopefully with BEN the biggest thing will be Fitchner NOT telegraphing plays called. That will allow imeadiate upgraded offensive performance and yes, those two TEs will be a factor as well. AWESOME

Not even my friends who are Deepthroat Lions fans consider Stafford a good QB. Though he is statistically. We've had plenty of them over the years. Vinnie Testaverde, Phillip Rivers, Tony Romo, etc..
Stafford's best years was when he had a HOF receiver. Without Megatron, he wasn't as good, though I'll admit 2016 was his best year of distributing the football. With Tate, Bolden, Jones, and Ebron. Though that team was one dimensional as ****. Top rusher had 357 yards. Of course you're putting up passing yards if you can't move it on the ground. This is the definition of fantasy passing stats. Pick a QB that is good, that has a terrible rushing attack. They will put up numbers.

Excellent post Cope4 and then add this in, Stafford lifetime 69-82 for a .457 win percentage. That means he is playing from behind more often than not. That translates to fantasy football stats.
You mention friends well I've go a good buddy is diehard red wings / lions and a few years back he said to me, why was I born into a lions fan........ ****, I'd much rather be a STEELERS fan. The year before Stafford was drafted they went winless and I felt so bad for my friend. The next year they got Stafford and when they won their first game we HOOPed and HOLLerd for him you'dA thought it was a STEELERS super bowl win..!!! I think the Stafford led Lions only won 2 games that season. **** Stafford.
