Get this ******* trash team and trash refs off my screen

If you expressly tell a guy like Holton that if he brings a kick out that is a touchback he will be cut. He will not. There is absolutely no judgement involved. Do and you are done. We take every 25 we can because Mathematically it bears it out every time. If you got to mid field and busted out that wildcat bullshit Ok. Maybe. You haven't even tried to assert a run game yet. Jaylen Samuel's is not an NFL qb. He is not paid to make decisions like that. You do not put him in that situation in your own end. Ever.

he is looking ahead to next year when all the transfers Holgorsen has signed will be eligible to play.

Coaches put this team in a 10-0 hole early because they are too scared to let Rudolph and the offense play. Even with the Wild Cat not working, they go back to it at a pretty crucial moment of the game and it promptly sends us backwards and takes away a touchdown opportunity. Or how about the staff not only having Holton and Gentry on the field in crucial situations, but targeting them with passes. JuJu made the glaring play, which was a great job by the defender, but there were point swings earlier with bad decisions.

Last week JaySam set an all time record by completing 3 passes in a ga,e an all time record for a non QB. So what does Tomlin do to catch the rats offguard, opens up with the wildcat and having him throw, , brilliant.

Then he handcuffs Randolph all game and when an untested rookie comes in he takes off the training wheels and opens up the entire playbook, why not open it up with the more experienced Rudolph?

Then the moron who says we don't live in our fears is too afraid of his KO returners and as a result stupidly chooses to kick off. He is a complete ********.

Twice in this second half they had a lead and gave it back. This is what angers me. This ******* team CANNOT hold a lead unless it is insurmountable. If one side of the ball builds momentum, the other gives it right back. Every ******* time.

When the defense gets takeaways, the offense does nothing at all or settles for a FG. When the offense takes the lead, the defense gives it right back. This team is so maddening to watch. We could have stolen a division game and kept in the hunt with our third string QB leading the way but instead they are basically cellar dwellers with zero chance of having a competitive record.

So yeah it’s not necessarily any coaching decisions or specific players I’m mad at. It’s the fact that this team cannot stay focused at all and cannot sustain momentum and cannot build off the strong plays they do make

This team just refuses to win close games. And holy **** I've never seen a roughing the passer call that bad in my life. Literally decided the game. And Tomlin really not taking the ball in overtime? I don't care if the defense just happened to do their job that time (unlike most other times), that decision was INEXCUSABLE. The way this team loses games and rips defeat from the jaws of victory IN A DIVISIONAL GAME is INEXCUSABLE. This team should be relegated to the god damn XFL they are an embarrassment.

Tomlin knew they couldn’t be stopped on FOUR downs, so he chose to let the Ravens play with three downs feeling they would not get in the end zone. Steelers had to at least get a FG regardless. I think he wanted a chance to win it outright after stopping them. A FG would have won it outright. If we had been up by three, they would have used four downs to at least tie. We ended up with the ball in better position anyway, so that proves it to be a good decision. It worked.

It worked, LMFAO, we lost. They got 2 possessions in overtime , we got one. Stupid decision by a stupid coach.

I didn't like the decision...but you have to admit the defense holding them to a three and out means it worked. The Steelers got the ball with the chance to win with just a field goal. The fact they ****** it up doesn't mean the decision to kick was a failure...

Stand back, have a beer, try to chill for a second and then analyze the game again, no one can blame the D for today's loss. The guys played a heck of a game, it's being a long time since I see this level of play on D against a dangerous offense.

What happened to Rudolph was terrible, yet the D holds on and the rookie undrafted QB plus the RBs make a game out of it just to lose because of a fumble from your best weapon on offense when the team was getting into FG territory for the win.

It's a crushing, mental draining loss. Don't know how they are gonna react after today, the wind was just taken off the sail and critical injuries keep piling up.

Try to rest guys, enjoy your families , salute the Nation.

Nice and wise words of wisdom all around. This isn't "madden" football and yes things need to be a little better. OUR "D" played outright quite well considering it's an offensive league. I see some fight in this team and hopefully next week they keep bringing it. I've seen improvement from game to game and MUCH within the defense so there is that positive. Reflect on that positive instead of getting so down on things.

Salute the nation

We lost because they got more overtime possessions than us, game and argument over. Everything else is just mental gymnastics, something Tomlin is clearly unqualified for.

The decision was bad because you have to think about it without the lens of results bias. Bottom line is.. you give up a TD and you never see the ball in overtime. You do not give the opposing team the ball in overtime, period. It’s not a chance you should take, even if it ended up working this time.

But honestly that decision isn’t even my beef. Just the inability of the offense to take advantage of great plays by the defense, the inability of the defense to sustain momentum gained by the offense, and the hideous face of untimely turnovers that have cost this team like 6 games in the past 2 seasons

I hated the decision to kick first too but we got the 3 and out with good field position... you're logic of blaming the loss on kicking the ball makes no sense.

Bottom line, Juju holds on the to the ball and we're 1st and 10 at the 50 with 20 yards to go to get into Boz's comfort zone.

so if the Steelers received the OT kick off and went down and then JuJu fumbled at the same point on the field, that would have been a better decision?

So Juju couldn't have fumbled like that if we received the ball first? Then they get the ball, kick the FG and win.. but hey, at least they did it on one possession instead of two.

Yeah I cussed the decision when he made it and would not have done it. But to claim after it worked that it is the reason they lost is asinine at best. Like it or not, the decision worked and the Steelers had the ball with a shot to win with a field goal. Like you said, the offense couldn't capitalize on the good play by the defense

The game is a numbers game and they won as they possessed the ball twice and had 2 opportunities to score to our one, everything else is woulda coulda or shouldas.

this doesn't come close to answering his question.

Really that is what you got from watching three hours of that ****.
Point one: you expressly tell the special teams coach that if you do not tell the returner he takes the knee on EVERY possible touchback he is fired.
Point two: that JV wildcat bullshit was cute for a week when the **** team didn't expect it. But backed up in your own end. And he was supposed to run or throw. Really.
Point three: it is second and one in scoring territory and they haven't stopped your lead back for a loss once and again you go wildcat. Really.
Point four: on the crucial tieing series it is third and one. You are running people on the field as the offense is at the line. They make an easy mockery of the attempted stop.
So yeah it's pretty hard to overcome a horrible bullshit call and a coaching staff that the one time they get something right they are congratulating each other like they won the ****** game.

Thanks for pretty much summing up my feelings to a T....

They had no business pulling that wildcat bullshit in the shadow of their own goalpost early in the game. This team can't play a damn complete game with a lead and win, let alone spot the other team 10 points due to stupidity.

How exactly did it work" they had to stop us once, we had to stop them twice. They stopped us once, we stopped them once, they win the game on the 2nd possession, game set match, it was a horrible decision with the season on the line and ******** Tomlin lived in his gears and licked off because he had no confidence ion the POS Switzer as a KO returner.

You're clearly an analytical genius so I'll just agree to disagree.

if you don't see that having the ball in OT with the chance to win with a FG after your defense held the opponent to a three and out is a good thing, then you are beyond help.
