Hahahaha ok. You might can get away with that a game here and there. But it wasn't the case tonight as the game wasn't even close. And overall your team hasn't needed the refs to lose they do just fine on their own. PS we dey *****.come back when the refs screw you 15 straight seaosns (2005-2019)
come back when the refs screw you 15 straight seaosns (2005-2019)
Bad calls in seattle game from 1st drive to last play, bad calls from basically start to finish in buffalo game, bad calls early in sf game put cincy too far back to have any chance of a comeback
We got a tally in the W column, so I'm happy for that.
And while it was the Bengals, our D looked dominant yesterday and was happy to see what I saw with them.
However, ...........................
I am deeply concerned and alarmed by what I saw from the offense.
All that wildcat, trickery, pop warner mess I watched tells me one of two things :
A) The coaching staff/players have a complete lack of faith in Mason Rudolph quarterbacking the team/being the field general
B) The coaching staff is in total desperation save my job mode and reached DEEP into their bag of tricks to pull out a win against a hapless 0-fer team
I'm more inclined to believe B is correct, but there are some alarming trends.
It seems they are limiting Rudolph and keeping him on a leash and in FULL training wheel mode.
Maybe that's a good thing to ease him into the starting job, but it seems like they don't have any faith in him.
It seems they are also protecting the O-Line's obvious deficiencies.
It seems they're also trying to see who they can actually trust in the receiving corps.
I mean, I in NO WAY believe that our coaching staff actually schemed that specific offense for just that one game against the Bengals due to something they saw on film.
I totally expect to see this same offense next week against Baltimore, and I'm not sure we're going to have similar results.
Not trying to be Debbie Downer after the season's first victory, just trying to be the realist and pragmatic.
go back and watch, youll see sea buf and pit get alomst every call and sf got enough early that cin had no chance of a comeback
05 vs pit no flag for late hit on carson palmer, bengals 12-4 shoudve been 13-3, but played vs refs in araizona an entire game, cost bengals a 1 seed as they tied for best nfl rec, then joey porter not flagged for being on the field, jadveon clowney half his body offsides no flag thrown cost bengals a playoff game (hou by 6), and osm many countless others i cant even remember em all, nut this year has been the worst of all, its like they have the home teams replacement refs calling the games (3 of 4 losses n road courtesy of refs) NFL has to fix it before it looks like theyre just pickin who wiins the super bowl every year, pretty sad this is the produuct they put out now
TJ Watt rushing dalton with his hand around an OLs throat, thats not hands to the face? automatic 1st down i believe, not called , just another ref mistake that helps pit and is woefully incorrect
gotta reply to all the comments saying the refs dont suck when they CLEARLY do and its getting worse every week
wow, 4 of 5 pit scoring drives aided by refs, and bengals not given 1st and goal on the 1 on 2 separate drives for pretty clear dpi in the endzone, and these refs dont suck?
I just hope every week we don't see this dink and dunk passing game. There's a time when you have to start stretching the field. Rudolf has had success down field just not enough of it. No confidence in the offensive line I guess.
Seriously??? Rudy was 24/28.
He can dink and doink for the rest of the season - AS LONG AS IT EQUATES TO W's!!!
