Game day thread. Steelers vs bungals ...Take 2.

Enjoyed watching that game. Controlled the LOS, and TOP. The most sacks we've had in years. Somewhat old school feel to it. Granted it wasn't a traditional running attack, and Mason made effective work with his passes but combined together, it worked brilliantly. I'm not getting overly excited because it was the Bengals at home, but there's definitely reason for optimism. Looking forward to this Sunday's match-up.

I just hope every week we don't see this dink and dunk passing game. There's a time when you have to start stretching the field. Rudolf has had success down field just not enough of it. No confidence in the offensive line I guess.
 
wow, 4 of 5 pit scoring drives aided by refs, and bengals not given 1st and goal on the 1 on 2 separate drives for pretty clear dpi in the endzone, and these refs dont suck?

dink and dunk until they stop it. if they keep leaving the middle of the field wide open like that, take that ****.....when they adjust and move the safeties up...go deep and see what happens

Well if you have no confidence in the Oline then the dink and dunk makes sense. Like Brady, Rudolph has a quick release. So fit the scheme to fit the QB's strength. They took a baby step this week. Hopefully they can take another step against a better team next week.

Amazing what they can accomplish with a chip on the shoulder and the season on the line.

Best game I've seen in a long time.

Tonight it called for the short game. It was working early and often. They tried it against the niners and they had that **** covered, but they kept trying. We will see what happens moving forward.

ineligible downfield (#71 5-6 yds) no flag on 1st td, helmet to helmet contact n dalton when he fumbled, leading to a fg, no flag, clear off holding on o line on other 2nd and 3rd tds, no flag, 2 pretty clear dpi in endzone on pit dbs, no flag or 1st and goal twice for cin, prob 2 tds, so maybe 17-14 pit with cin driving late, thats 3 of 4 games cin has played vs their opp and the refs, cant win when its like that, nfl has gotta get it fixed, theyve already ended the bengals season, and its still september

Its a start. Hopefully they can build on it.
 
The Bengals are horrible. Many thought Marvin was the big problem. Marvin's time needed to end, but I'm beginning to lean toward the opinion that Marvin actually worked a miracle making a Mike Brown owned team competitive for most of his run. Looks like the Bengals are headed back to where they were before Marvin got there.
