A lot of people here are forgetting we lost our #1 and #2 RILB in the same game. We were left with #3 Fort trying to make plays, picked up a street FA Spence #4, and had Moats trying to switch for depth as #5. If Big Red was healthy, our run D would have been much better down the stretch.

Our run defense was suspect with shazier and Tyler....

I think so. You now have two ILBers (Bostic, Dirty Red) And a few hybrid S's that can be thrown into the mix.

Some better depth than last year, post Shazier injury.

They were initially then started to improve, then the injury. Then another.

Just unfortunate timing.

Still would prefer one body, over Fort.
