OK, I will respond to your comments in this thread. Are you really that clueless? Have you not read or watched any of the news that has come out just since yesterday to keep it simple? As I said, the police had this video during their investigation. It was known to exist and it was known to show what Rice did to his fiance'. If Goodell and the Rats want to play semantics and say they didn't "see it", fine. But, as I already said, this video was known to exist and what was on it was known. The police chose not to release the tape during their investigation. The Rats did the right thing in cutting Rice but their reason and Goodell's reason for reopening the case are bogus. They did it because of outcry after people saw the video and because Goodell is trying to fix his screw up of only giving Rice a 2 game suspension to begin with and then immediately changed the NFL's policy. Again, seeing the video doesn't change the story when the video was known to exist. If Goodell wants to play that card, then he should have waited in the first place to punish Rice until the police released the video as they are required to, by law.
