Ding Dong the ***** is dead!!!

Let's be clear. The Titans were in the playoffs because of the Steelers QB injuries, inept coaching losing to the Jets and the Ravens backups and the schedule. They would have lost their last three games if not for the Texans situation. They are not a good team. Just a better coach.

To add a bit more clarity, Tannehill played much, much ,much better than anyone we trotted out this year.

And watching Vrabel sticking it to old Billy Boy and him almost having a stroke on the sidelines, only to see Vrabel run off the field grinning, essentially giving all those Massholes a big "**** you" in victory -- a masterpiece.
It was great to see them beaten by a coach using the nuances of the rule book against them for a change.

In the meantime, we're here cheering for a team who's coach's idea of brilliant strategy is throwing a challenge flag after the coin toss.

The Titan's offensive tackles are monsters. Lewan and Conklin are the real deal. That whole offensive line DETROYED New England. Some of the holes were big enough for me to get 100 yards.

The only offensive line playing as well as the Titans is Baltimore so that clash next week will be something to watch.

Titans deserved it. Vrabel is a good coach. They built the team right. Tannehill found confidence and does well on the play action. They certainly aren't perfect. They have some holes on offense and defense, but if I was a fan, I would be optimistic.

P.S. Once again you see the difference: Belichick hired Vrabel. Tomlin hired Porter. 15 years in the league, what is Tomlin's coaching "tree"? Arians and Munchak? Two guys that weren't "his" anyhow? Tomlin is a joke. Hires joke coordinators. Teaches nothing.

This, they dont have Jack waiting in the wings, I bet they draft a QB in rd 1, the only question is will Marcia swallow his pride like he swallows other things and sign a short term minimum money deal to keep the chair warm for the new guy till he's ready

I have a few Cheatriot fan friends and they seem to think the Cheats will be somehow taking Burrows this year or the Clemson QB next year. I see no way they can move up to No. 1 this year to get Burrows. But, if they suck in 2020 (which I doubt even if Brady is gone), it will be much easier for them to move up in 2021.

When. During the season sure. Last night? Cmon. He completed 8 passes. Three were on the first drive of the game. The only significant one was a well set up screen. He made a good throw on third down late to seal the game.

Tanehill was 8 of 15 for 72 yards. 1 TD and 1Int. He wasn't light years ahead of Duck or Rudolph. I swear I dont know what some of you even watch.

I wouldn't want him as my starter but the guy did connect on a few pressure passes to keep drives alive. Still scratching my head on that floater he threw up for grabs. I thought that was going to be the nail in their coffin. Seems to be a decent compliment for a running team and can keep teams honest so they don't overload the line and shut down the run. Will be interesting to see how they do against the rats. Halfway expecting them to come crashing back down to earth but who knows they still have a shot.

What were your buddies drinking last night? #1. They would have to trade their entire draft plus at least next year's first and that probably wont be enough. It will be the same for Lawrence in 2021. You have to tank for those guys.

The **** played much better once Tannehill got in there. He has been just about as good as any QB since he took the reigns. And, with that O-line and Henry running, they have a chance in the playoffs. Plus, they play pretty good D. Not sure they can beat the Rats in Ratsville but who knows. Some teams have slowed down Lamar. If the **** can get Henry going like they did in NE and don't turn the ball over, who knows. I know I will be rooting for that upset.

I agree and that's what I said to them. They seem to think the Cheats have the draft picks to make it happen. It would take at least 3 No. 1 picks to move up to get Burrows. I can't see them doing it or the Bungles taking it but they can dream, I guess.

Vrabel never coached under the cheaters. I think they either cut him or traded him to KC. other than that you are spot on

I wish we had the Titans line. The zone blocking was basically a clinic.

Also, it does not matter if you know what they are going to run when they block like that. The Pats were reading run right and still were getting schooled.

I hope Brady goes back to the Pats and they are just as bad next year. I love seeing those 2 ******** on the sidelines during losses .G.O.A.T. at cheating and that is it

Tannehill’s QB rating was higher than anyone with any significant playing time this season. Can he keep doing it? Who knows? I’m sure if you look at a small enough window you could conclude that we are loaded at the QB position.

I can't see any bottom feeder team trading their opportunity to draft Burrows or Lawrencs for any number of #1 picks, those kids are franchise QBs and those don't grow on trees

BLITZ, I was thinking the same but don't lose sight that TOMLIN's tree is very branch less. With Coach Tomlin at the helm we will not accomplish much as for play off & SB wins. It took 5+ years to get a "D" that is only held back by scheme. How long will it take on "O" and then imagin when the HOF QB retires for good...............

...AND with it being New England, what team would want to watch another 20 years of dominance? I dont care how many draft picks those ******** offered, I'd give them a big 'ol FU.

Exactly. Like I'm sure there is a number. Anything has a price. But when you look at the QB's left in the tournament: Mahomes, Wilson, Brees, Jackson and look at the recent teams to win / be at the SB. Then you put a face to a guy that a lot of people put into that bracket....... pretty hard to say no I'm gonna take a bushel of who knows picks. And it sure as hell isn't coming from 24 or wherever the Pats* are picking.

I don't want to think about life after Ben. I remember to well the years between Bradshaw and Ben. That being said, at least we have a defense we can be proud of again

1) Titans Punter Bruce Kern was an undrafted FA out of Toledo- our backyard- There is no rule that says we have to accept mediocrity out of our punting game, yet we do.

To be fair, Berry was having a stellar year until he got wrecked on that botched/miscommunication fake punt. He was awful after that and I'll guess that play had something to do with it. It's speculation I know, but possibly a situation much the same way Boswell played through his awful season with lingering physical issues.

Don't forget Belicheat's tree hasn't taken off that well also. Once they leave those branches seem to wilt and die off.

Never underestimate the stupidity of Mike Brown.

None could ever replicate New England's exceptional audio/video crew with their new teams. That's where they failed to achieve. ;)

Exactly. How can you have high school numbers and two turnovers. Like I said, the only difference was Henry from what the Steelers players could have done last night. But they still would have lost because a Tomlin led team would never have that resolve to stay with the game plan. Even I would say I'm shocked they won the game with that game plan. The big sequence was holding them to a field goal and 6 point lead from the one. If the Pat's get up 10 I think it's over. Oh yeah and about 30 of Tannehills yards came on the screen pass that Henry ran to the one.

I like all your assessments. In my opinion the only 'difference, if you will, was the brilliantly sneaky knowledge of 'clock manipulation' that Coach Vrabel showed in the last 5 minutes of the game.

As it has been stated, Rudy or Duck could have done everything Tannehill did last night. IIRC JaySam had over 100 yards when we played them last year - not so sure about any of our backs being as competent as Henry, thus my desire to draft Najee Harris w/ our first pick. I think a lot of teams realize that defenses have been morphed to passing defenses - so reverting back to a power running game is brilliant---it also keeps Ben from throwing for 5000 yards and blowing out his elbow...

I am still laughing and enjoying the hell out of what happened last night. Watch what Belichick did to the Jets this year....even smirking and hardly able to contain himself. The pompous *** just rubbing the Jets nose in it and showing how smart he is. To go from that exposing a loophole that he didn't need to expose and have it directly affect his team losing in the playoffs is just so much karma goodness.
