Once again, a key takeaway is deadly obvious: prior to 2007 the Patriots were RIGHT IN LINE with the league averages across the other non-dome teams. When you look team by team, they literally are in the middle of the pack for most seasons, as the histogram in the very first graphic at the top of this article shows. But starting in 2007, all similarities totally vanish.

The statistical “jump” the Patriots make in the 2006 offseason, from one fumble every 39 plays to one fumble every 76 plays is nothing short of remarkable. Their trendline over this period is not even close to that of the rest of the NFL.
 
It is so fun talking to Patriots fans. I love riding their *** about how the Patriots have * next to each of their Super Bowl "wins". And yes I do use finger quotations when saying "wins". They are all tainted and I would rather have 1 real true Super Bowl win than 4 fake ones.

The Patriots have the money to deal with any fines. They have uncounted cheating methodologies in place to deal with any draft penalties you put in place so they don't care if you take picks away from them.

So, you hit them where it truly hurts.

A) Suspend T*m Br*dy meaningfully. For a VERY LONG TIME.

B) Make Bellichick, Kraft and Br*dy ineligible for the Hall of Fame. Now THAT will leave a mark. You want to see T*m Br*dy ******* FREAK right out? Tell him he's ineligible for the Hall of Fame because of his involvement in cheating scandals. Watch him squeal like a ***** on ALL the **** the **'s do.
 
I love how the talking heads on NFL network and ESPN are trying to dismiss this as no big deal. I say bull ****. He was uncooperative in the investigation and was caught red handed. He should be suspended to start the season for at least 4 games and that is the bare minimum. It should be much more but I doubt he even gets that and I doubt the league will suspend him for the 1st game as it is their highlight game to start the season. If they do, maybe it will show Roger finally has some balls to stand up to his good buddy Kraft.
 
Once a cheater always a cheater. ******* better be suspended 3-4 games. You start tampering with the integrity of the game then you must be punished.

My guess is Tommy gets a 3 game suspension. They will have Pit and Jacks at home and Buf away. They will want Tommy back for the next 2 games at Dal and at Indy, IMO.

THIS is what I base my judgment on if I'm Troy Vincent. Also, Rog, used the statement of "lack of knowledge doesn't excuse overall responsibility" - Belicheat needs some time off too..
 
NE apologists in full spin mode... taking a page out of every other group that was busted by an independant report and blaming the report. As with all cases of this sort, the perps need to be suspended or fired, and heavily fined. the org should be penalized a pick and fined for allowing it to happen.
 
You can fine the **'s but they don't care.

To get to the root of the problem you have to hit T*m in the ego. Ban him from the Hall of Fame. Soon as he knows it's all been for nothing he'll crumble like a stale cookie and the entire problem will solve itself. House = cleaned within 3 years. It will hurt for awhile but in the long run the league will be stronger for it.

the thing is that the NFL paid for this report and the patriots organization didn't fully collaborate as they were asked to by the NFL. If this isn't proof of trying to hide a smoking gun then I don't know what else it is.
 
watched first take today and Skip Bayless said that Brady should be suspended and Belicheat should be held accountable -- are we sure Hell is not freezing over ??
 
so we have an instance of one person in the patriots organization not collaborating with an investigation
this investigation involves the lives and future of other men

are we sure this is about tom brady and not aaron hernandez?
 
With a detailed report, I think Brady is going to miss some time. 1-2 games.
 
The day bellicheat is out of football NE won't see a winning team for a long time. The guy is behind everything shady that can help them win
 
As much as I'd love to see Brady suspended for week one, does anyone really think Goodell is going to suspend Brady for the opening night of the NFL season when they raise their banner? He should be, but Brady will appeal any punishment, Goodell will drag the appeal out so he can play week one, then suspend him after.

Absolutely. Id actually be surprised if the NFL acts unless the Pats want them to. like I said, the Pats and Brady havent been on the greatest of terms of late... despite the super bowl... this may be the time to distance themselves from him in a PR friendly manner
 
I believe the nfl is trying to find some way to do nothing and will scape goat the deflater and equipment guy and graft will find some way to compensate them for their silence. They may be able to retire comfortably after this.

I was equally stunned. Skip is such a Brady lover. He admitted, when Stephen A asked him this morning, to being a life long "Brady Jock Rider." He said it hurts him admitting these things, but said to the effect - "Tom Brady is a cheater. Even if it's minor like running through a stop sign, he's a cheater and defiled the integrity of the game."

Hell is indeed freezing over.
 
Commissioner Spike says Brady should get 2-4 games, Bellicheater a whole year, fines AND draft picks.

But Kraft owns and pays the commish's salary too, so there's that.

Fire Goodell!!!!
