Deflategate Investigation: Complete ... Awaiting Report.

So the buzz is that the Pats public release of the disputing report broke further NFL rules by discussing diciplinary matters outside of league offices.

Yep. Violated the league constitution. If I were Rog, I'd give them additional penalties. lol

Article VIII of the NFL constitution gives the commissioner, and by proxy the league office, "full, complete and final jurisdiction" to resolve disputes. It also gives the commissioner "complete authority" to issue discipline for rules violations. Finally, Article IX expressly prohibits public criticism of the league by member clubs, stating: "All complaints or criticism ... shall be made to the Commissioner only and shall not be publicized directly or indirectly."

Sounds like rodger will be doing his usual best to hide evidence and set aside the verdict. I thought the penalty was too light to begin with now it might just shrink to the size of the small end of nothing sharpened.

This is one of the BEST things that is happening. The cheatriots**** are appealing, tom brady is appealing. THIS will open uip the proverbial can of worms. The harder the chats protest, the MORE open things will become. There are players claiming of headset malfunction in "08" at Foxborough field, imagine that?? These fuctards, are bringing more down on themselves and I love the crumble. I hope more and more becomes public, open to information, all the way back to the hoodie hire. Burn baby burn

Salute the nation

Yep, saw this on the local news last night. Karlos Dansby said his head set worked fine all year until the 16th game in Foxboro. Matt Leinart had the same issue on offense. Because they could not get them to work they resorted to hand signals and got crushed in the process.

Let the ***'s keep complaining........it will not end well for them.

Sure hope more crap actually comes to light, and because of that belicheat gets banned krap gets forced into selling his team and they move it. brady* can then be suspended for a year.

Here is the ultimate problem for the Pats... there really isnt much in the way of courts overturning suspensions without pay, particularly in CBA situations. the NFLPA agreed to the commish being the final say... its going to be hard for any lawyer, regardless of how good he is, to go against that. I think the Pats faithful are putting a lot of faith in something that traditionally, barring discrimination vs a protected class, the courts have said "if you dont like it, quit and find a new job"... i mean I guess Brady could come out as a gay QB, but im not sure if sexual orientation is a protected class where this will be tried... and "entitled douchbag celebrity" really doesnt fall in any of the protected classes....

I laugh every time I see the deflator explanation in the media.

I honestly was ready to rip people here for being morons and not realizing that someone had parodied the Pats when I first read the deflator explanation. I sincerely thought it was in jest.

How many times did Kraft and/or these lawyers get caught ******* around on their wives that they were willing to throw this pathetic "It's not what you think!" out there?

Ok - then you can work on T*m Br*dy's defense - LOL

The whole thing is a complete Farce. simply unbelievable that the NFL can hand down that type of penalty given the actual evidence. If this thing went to a court trial, the judge would throw away the case. Too many flaws in the way they tested. The brought the balls in from 35 (or so weather) and tested all 12 of the patriots balls first, before going on to the colts balls, after they had a good 10 to 15 minutes to warm up. We are not talking science fiction here, just cold hard facts. The air preasure inside the ball will DROP as the temperature goes down. Secondly the exact air preasure was never actually recorded by the referees. thirdly, there were 2 different preasure gauges which were used, which had a varience of around .4 PSI, and the referees simply did not record, or remember which gauge was used to measure which balls at which times.

So again, two guys get caught breaking into a house... they are seen leaving with a bag that may have stuff in it... the police catch up with them later, but the owner has no idea what was in the bag... do these guys get a pass because the illicit breaking and entering may have been burgulary or not? does a guy get a pass on attempted murder because he didnt actually hit the target?
Whether the balls were successfully deflated or not is not the issue here... they were under the allowed PSI so there is no definitive way to prove it one way or the other, but there is ample reason to believe that there was a scheme to try to deflate or alter them in place, including past precident, motive and opportunity and text messages that obviously tie Mr Brady into it.

As a private entity, the NFL doesnt need evidence beyond a shadow of a doubt, just reasonable suspicion, and public courts have little interest in disputing CBA issues rising from petty suspensions...

With Rog overseeing Marsha's appeal, you can guarantee it is reduced to 2 games, if not 0.

Dude I wish I could transcribe this Whatsapp conversation I'm having over the past few days with my buddy who's a P*ts fan.. it's like they move in unison.

Why is it that ****'s fans are so centric on the Deflation aspect and ignoring the reason for the heavy suspension as stated by Troy Vincent -- lack of cooperation?

cause they live in denial. Bunch of blind sheeps

Breaking News....

Lots of previously unknown Pats fans found living in Egypt.

Actually that's not really news.

Like we didn't know they were living in de Nile.

What I want to know, during the appeal meeting with Roger and Marsha, is who gets the reach-around?

If the rog wants to get in my good graces then he should hear the appeal and then double all suspensions, fines, and draft pick losses because of that bullshit secondary report. It would be the right thing to do.
Amen.

You should be able to email the conversation to yourself. Press and hold each conversation bubble (of interest of course) and Bob's your uncle...

SHARE IT!!!

Im not going to bother trying to convince those pats fans that circumstancial evidence is actually evidence, even in criminal court... after all i explained it repeatedly over the hernendez situation, yet they steadfastly stood by the idea that;
he wouldnt be released, wouldnt be charged, would be exhonerated and reinstated, would never ever ever be convicted on that evidence....

for the most part...Pats fans are just universally wrong about everything.

There is no scandel here, just plain hard science. But there I go again acting like a typical Massachusetts Liberal talking about Science.* What will I do next?* Suggest that man evolved from apes? * But alas, yes we are all ancestors of the apes.* All except for Tom Brady that is, who G*d himself struck in his own image, put a bolt of lightning in his right arm, and sent him forth to lead the New England Patriots to Football Greatness!!!

G*d bless You, G*d bless America, and G*d bless the New England Patriots.

Kevin [10:29]:
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - that's rich!!!
‎‎Serge [10:34]:
I'm sure you feel the same way about Ben, that is if you can get past the whole Rape thing. Honestly, Ray Rice get's 2 games for definitely punching his wife, and Ben get's 6 games for allegedly Raping someone, and TB gets for 4 games and 1million$ for maybe doctoering some balls? come on, the whole system is out of whack.

If the MF could spell like he "spews chyt" he'd be dangerous...

Ben was ultimately suspended for embarasssing the league... despite science proving he did not rape that girl, he still made an *** of himself in a public place and brounght undue negative press on him and the NFL... for that he ultimately got 4 games... and that was with full cooperation from him and everyone with him.

NE fans are arrogant imbaciles in these matters... its why you cant debate with them... they dont see a full picture. they still think Goodell is out to get them, not covering for them at every turn.

Don't know what to make of Roger Dodger overseeing the appeal. It's either good news or bad news. In any event, the P*ts need further punishment for acting like such *** clowns.

Im tired of Roger, Kraft and Brady thinking the general public is ******* stupid. They have a history of cheating. Period. Their continued bullshit statements and responses are just insulting. Im getting to the point where I dont even know if I want to watch anymore until Roger is fired.

So, the media is going crazy about the "scientific explanation for the deflation of footballs". Saw this over in the thread about Rookie Mini-Camp and thought it deserved to be here too:

* One of the issues raised by the Patriots is that Wells’ law firm has close ties to the NFL and therefore his report is something other than unbiased. As another part of their response, the Patriots offered a rebuttal of the science cited in the Wells Report via Professor Roderick MacKinnon, a 2003 Nobel laureate in chemistry.

* Without getting overly academic, MacKinnon refuted the science as it was laid out in the Wells Report as it pertained to deflation of footballs in weather, and the Patriots described MacKinnon as someone with “no business or personal relationship with the Patriots” who “offered his scientific expertise to the team” once news of the investigation went public.

* Noah Gray of Nature magazine subsequently wrote that MacKinnon actually is the “scientific co-founder” and co-chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of a company called Flex Pharma that counts The Kraft Group among its investors.

Ben was ultimately suspended for embarasssing the league... despite science proving he did not rape that girl,.

Huh? They didn't press charges, but that's different than scientifically proving he didn't rape or assault her.

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-s...-to-determine-brady-punishment-155357432.html

I'd love for the NFL to bring in an "independent, unbiased" party to rule on the punishment and they end up making it a harsher one...the only thing that could make this even better.

Also, isn't this something that was agreed upon as part of the CBA, that Goodell hands down punishments? How does the NFLPA have any leg to stand on with this argument?
