Dak is legit, Jones is burning garbage

I don't care if it's preseason: Dak Prescott is legit. And Landry Jones sucks big time.

In two games, Dak has a perfect rating. Perfect. 158.3.

Jones? Not so much. 41.4.

If Ben goes down, our season is over. If Romo goes down, Dallas might actually be better.

Rooneys, your fear of change is overdone. You should have just admitted Jones was a bad choice and done something to improve this team, but you refused. They ever lifted a pinky finger to improve the QB depth. They did nothing.

"IS that you, Candy Cane?"

Romo better not get hurt this season. He might have a hard time getting back into the lineup.

We all see that something is wrong in Steeler drafts going after needs. Lets hope Vic does not come out of Tomlin's word of the day.

The changing of the guard could happen sooner than later. With the way Dak is lighting it up, Romo better not lose many games. I couldn't believe how good Dak looked. Play after play, and for two straight games, with starters or backups. It didn't matter who he played with.

Romo has always been overrated anyway. He will put up very good regular season numbers and will promptly buckle under the post season pressure and make the crushing mistake to kill his team's chances.

Isn't saying "landry sucks" a redundancy?

Dak is also playing with starters and there is no defensive gameplans yet. He's sitting back with all day to throw behind the starting cowboy OL throwing to Dez.

Who hypes a rookie QB vs vanilla schemes in pre-season ? Dak will get his reality check when Romo bites the turf again. Pre-seaon is not the same as regular season....preseason is dogs in the run. Regular season the wolves start the hunt. Save the hype.

Last year Jones led the league in preseason yardage by a QB.

He also has more regular season wins than Dak, so there's that...

Well, having most preseason yards is mostly because he is on a team with a franchise QB who gets very little preseason snaps AND who's other back up QB is constantly - and I mean constantly - hurt. It has NOTHING to do with a reflection of Jones quality of play.

Also, I am willing to wager Dak will have more regular season wins than Jones by end of this season. Jones is a dumpster fire. FOUR picks in one half. He is putrid. He was a moronic draft pick and instead of admitting that and moving on, they hold onto the imbecilic hope that he will get better.

People who actually understand the game.

It doesn't matter when it is, Dak has shown he can put the ball on the open man. His passer rating is 158 which is the highest one can have. When he lights it up in the regular season, you won't have anything to say then.

Nothing wrong with hyping up a player who's played well in the preseason. Certainly better than playing poorly with the starters.

That seems to happen frequently under the Tombert administration.

Dak has produced in 2 preseason games. Jones has played poorly in 2 preseason games. Apples to apples.

You haven't been paying attention. Dak played with tons of back ups this week and still had a perfect passer rating, while Jones threw FOUR picks with starters playing.

If by "starters" you mean Sammy Coats, Eli Rogers, Toussant, and Jessie James, then yea. Apples to apples indeed...

SMH...

I never even asserted Jones was playing with ALL STARTERs. Read what I actually wrote. I said.....

You are attempting a strawman argument. You are knocking down points I never asserted.

1.) Dak played with backups, not JUST starters.

2.) Jones played WITH starters, and he did. I never said ALL starters.

Now, before you go off "shaking your head" try to stick to refuting things I actually stated, instead of making up stuff and refuting things that were NEVER stated.

Are you contending Jones didn't play with any starters? Was that not the starting OL? Are you asserting that Dak ONLY played with starters? Hardly the case. I watched the game, did you?

You seem dizzy on this one. SMH
