Sounds like Covid is running rampant through the Pens locker room. Crosby and Dumo are the latest two to get it.
After all the data and the incredibly low mortality rate for children with this thing, you're actually on the fence? I'm never going to tell another person how to live their life, but think good & hard about that one.

i hear that the vax reduces the severity of covid if you get it. Is that actually true or is it just that Delta is less severe in general?

whereas we were told by Biden that we could not get the virus if we got the shot, we can now get the virus even after we've had multiple shots. yet it prevents (or helps prevent) the virus from wreaking too much havoc. though you can still die from it. so ... damned if you do, damned if you don't

Skeptic that I've become on this, how can we be sure that even this is true? I'm fully vaxed, and have not had the virus, but how can it be said with absolute certainty that the vaccine makes any real difference at all? Listen to the experts! Which experts, and whose pockets are they in? While I don't regret getting the vaccine, it isn't the panacea we were led to believe it is, and I'm on the fence with any future booster. My younger sister got a booster last week and was sick as a dog for 3 days.
It's kind of like most viruses be. As new variants come along, they are often more contagious, less deadly.
But these are wonder vaccines so. Or....

how can they possibly make any claims on it lessening the severity? Right from the start, we’ve seen that Covid affects everybody differently. The list of symptoms is basically anything that makes you feel bad. Before any vax, some people got very sick and some people just felt crappy for a few days and were fine.
There Is no possible way to have a control group.
And if it is true that they can show in the lab that the vax does lessen replication of the virus and thus lessens the severity then this is more of a treatment than a vax. Why not just get it after you get sick? I mean getting it beforehand does not prevent you getting sick nor does it prevent you spreading it.
That leaves the question, why get this as a preventive measure? Why mandate it as a preventive measure? It keeps coming back to this making sense for at risk people with compromised immune systems but for the rest then why not treat it as a therapeutic?
The worst thing about covid, or maybe it’s a good thing not sure, is that it has shown how ******* stupid and ******* bat **** crazy folks are.

From the first efficacy trials, it was reported that the vaccine were 90% effective. Almost a year into the vaccines, the vaccinated are currently 12X less likely to die of Covid based on daily averages. What don’t you understand?

So again… I am still in the hospital with a freak case of covid… I really really almost died… I still have no interest in the vaccine really… novavax absolutely.. ill be first in line… but a third of tgese doctors and nurses aren’t vaccinated and tgey are fine cause they all already had it…
The potential side effects from the spike protein are not great… and there are plenty of hospitalized vaccinated people
And trust me… even if you are healthy normally.. if you get a different cold or infection Covid will use that as a way past your body’s immune system…
Also these doctors and nurses are all heroes and **** anyone who forces anyone to get anything they don’t want
But this country needs a better gameplan in these hospitals badly… i mean badly….
