IMO - anyone who is aware that they have comorbidities such as lung cancer, should get the shot. It WILL prevent those who get the shot from becoming gravely ill. I'd suggest anyone 65+ should get the shot.
Using the math and following the science, it's not quite as effective - or necessary - for those younger.
Hell, if I were 60 and had HAD cancer, I'd get the shot. Lifespan and all.
The shot itself can even have adverse side effects in the younger population. That said, it's not creating a 99% rate of side effects, and the people who are experiencing these are barely acknowledged.
It should be ADVISED to get the shot if you're 60-50 years of age.
But to mandate without specifically mandating that everyone get the shot is not what this country is founded upon.
